Dr. Rufus Sampson Armstrong III, MD

Shouldn’t be allowed to practice medicine. He jumps around from Ob/gyn to Botox king and now radiology. Always trying to be one step from the latest malpractice suit. He missed diagnosed me, kept telling me I wasn’t pregnant until I miscarried and then it was like oops and that was that.

I had a total hysterectomy 19 years ago by Dr. Armstrong and he specifically told at the time that he had removed my appendix (which is standard procedure). Due to recent severe abdominal pain, my physician ordered an emergency CT scan and MRI which revealed that I still have my appendix intact. Not only could this have endangered my life, but I am sure that he billed my insurance for a procedure that wasn't performed. In addition, years ago, my mother was having vaginal bleeding and Dr. Armstrong performed a D & C and said the bleeding was due to menopause--nothing to worry about. When she continued to bleed for 3 months and Dr. Armstrong continued to say it was "Post menopausal bleeding", she went to a urologist who diagnosed her with bladder cancer, which is where the bleeding was coming from. Nine months later, my mother died of the disease and we were told that if it had been diagnosed months earlier, she probably could have been treated and lived. I am so disappointed in… Dr. Armstrong because I trusted him. I would never recommend him to anyone!!

This guy is horrible! He has several sanctions against him, including mine from 2003. He forgot to prescribe me antibiotics,misdiagnosed me and almost killed me! I ended up with over 55 blood transfusions, due to a staph infection, that could have been prevented! Now, I am unable to have any more children and left with nothing but scars and horrible memories!!!!!!!!!!

Refused additional follow up, missed the correct diagnosis and lost all medical records and they were never to be found. Use extreme caution when using this person for medical reasons.
