Dr. Rufus Wade Gore, MD

I was referred to Dr. Gore by my Dr. and immediately staring doing my research. My meniscus was torn and this would be my 1st ever surgery (I'm 47 years old). Like many of you, I look to reviews for additional insight to help with my decision making. After reading several good reviews I decided to meet with Dr. Gore. From our first appointment, Dr. Gore made me feel comfortable. I like the fact that Dr. Gore was extremely informative about the procedure. He told me orthoscopic meniscus surgery is very common and it is unlikely to have any unforeseen complications. Finally, a Dr. that was 100% honest with me and didn't just tell me what I wanted to hear. I myself know that any basic surgery can have complications. The morning of the surgery Dr. Gore showed up as confident as ever. His smile and communication made me feel even more comfortable. The entire staff was professional, did their job well, and made me feel very confident about my surgery. From the I V to the anesthesia I was a… happy patient. I woke up to "Hi Lowell, everything went great! How are you feeling?" I smiled with joy. Thank you Dr. Gore. Thank your entire staff for me! Excellence is hard to find when looking for a well-rounded Dr. Thankfully there is one in Palm Desert, CA. His name is Dr. Gore and I am grateful he is servicing my community. And yes, everything else went flawlessly.

My 93 year old mother broke her hip and Dr. Gore was her assigned physician. When he came in for the consultation he was very thorough and explained everything in terms we could understand. He answered all our questions and I felt confident that my mom was in good hands. After surgery he assured us everything went smoothly and she would recover well. She is doing great and I’m very grateful. I have been in the medical field and have experienced doctors first hand and one of the main things that’s hard to find these days is a doctor that isn’t condescending and has a great bedside manner. Dr. Gore was both! If I ever personally need an orthopedic specialist I will not hesitate using Dr. Gore.

,I feel he did every thing medically possible before we decided that our only option was a total shouldar replacement...he's easy to talk to and makes you feel very comfortable..Thrilled He's moved his office closer to home.

Discoved it wasnt hip pain, but pain from my back. He was very helpful in helping me understand the difference. Having further tests done. I'm very confident he will find out my problem.

I had a knee replacement done. Everything went well. I followed his direction to have the best out come.

The best surgeon in the desert! Dr Gore is a highly educated, hands on, Orthopedic Surgeon, who does the most natural looking knee replacements available.

I can't imagine going to any other Orthopedic Dr. Dr. Gore and his staff are friendly and efficient. Dr, Gore has a great bedside manor and he is funny and personable. My husband I felt like we had known him for years. The atmosphere in his office is very comfortable and welcoming.

Staff is weak . No return phone calls. Zero patient concern.
