Dr. Rushia Lorraine Butler, MD

This doctor left me with 25% hearing loss in one hear because she absolutely refused to give me an antibiotic. She completely missed my ear infection, but put me through unnecessary X-rays of my face and head to prove I didn’t have a sinus infection. Two days after seeing her, I was in the ER with facial paralysis due to the extreme swelling and pressure on the nerve. She failed me all because she wanted to prove a point that antibiotics weren’t necessary when they so were.

I have to pay about 185 for all my medical visits because of my insurance. $185 for 10 minutes. I switched to Dr Butler because it's the same cost there for 60 minutes. They won't combine the botox visits with the medical visits though. Those have to be separate.

Dr. Rushia Butler has a pleasantness about her that allows patients to feel comfortable and and ease around her. Dr. Butler takes her time explaining your prognoses to you, and she's fully knowledgeable and can explain in plain term everything that's unclear to a patient to understand. I would recommend several people to Dr. Rushia Butler. Thank you

Smaller practice that takes a limited number of patients- only about 10 a day I think. You book your own appointments and they have only has one nurse, Laly, so it's very personalized attention. Laly is pleasant and easy to talk to. Dr. Butler usually spends about an hour with me and never seems rushed. The only slight down side is they don't take phone calls but Laly usually gets back to me within a day or so. They won't interrupt your visit, or be interrupted on someone else's, so I accept it. The portal is pretty nice though. All my meds, and labs are there, and now that I'm a patient I can schedule my follow up there too. Cozy home like atmosphere- you feel like you're just having coffee in your friend's living room- who happens to be a doctor. All sorts of flowers are blooming from the windows of the office.

She only works the medical spa now. I met her in ER and wanted to be a patient in her holistic medical practice. My sister is on the wait list, but she was able to get in after she scheduled for botox. I do like the one stop shopping for women- holistic care, garden, and YESSS even this girl still wants to keep it young with my botox!

Very unprofessional atmosphere. Front desk staff was arguing while I waited for my appointment. Made me uncomfortable. Also Doctor has zero bed side matter, not taking my health concerns seriously. She kept saying how she is so busy, and squeezed me in. Also she never had her staff follow up with me, regarding some blood work I had done. Waited almost a month, then decided to pick them up. Very frustrating and unnecessary.
