Dr. Rustan Oneal Adcock, MD

I just moved to Asheville and was dreading a new doctor even though he came highly recommended. Dr. Adcock was a wonderful surprise and put me at ease right away. He listens and is extremely knowledgeable. It took time to discuss my prior history, I needed several referrals and tests. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. I left with a positive attitude instead of dragging out depressed. A few days later I received a detailed report of my blood tests. That is a first! I previously lived in a very large city and had an excellent doctor but never got written results. I'm impressed with this health center.

Dr. Rustan Adcock is the best doctor I've ever seen! I wouldn't call it a good bedside manner, because it's so much more than that.. He is the most compassionate, empathetic, and thorough doctor I have ever met. Both of my parents, as well as myself go to him for all of our needs. He is one in a million, and deserves to be recognized for such excellent patient care.

Dr. Adcock is an excellent listener and has a deep knowledge of medicine coupled with a caring attitude. His is one of the best physicians I have ever known.

Kind, thoughtful, compassionate. Great memory for prior concerns and conversations. So glad to have him as my primary care doctor.

Dr. Adcock was very accurate in his diagnosis of a blood clot in my lung. I would never have thought that this could be my problem of being short of breath. I'm very impressed with him as my doctor.

I have had Dr. Adcock as my my primary care physician for several years now and his friendly manner has led me to trust him thoroughly. He has performed at least one small procedure in the office and was gentle and confident. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a doctor who is kind and friendly.

Dr. Adcock has always been kind and understanding. He is never in a hurry. He encourages me all the time. He don't focus on my bad points but my good. I feel comfortable talking to him. When I leave my appointment it is with a big high five and a smile. I love Dr. Adcock and thankful he is there to care foe me the rest of my life cause I'm older...lol

I was transferred to Dr. Adcock's care when my primary care physician left his practice. I am very happy with him as my new PCP. He takes the time to listen and has given me a choice in my plan of care. My only problem is not with him, but with the office. I may not spend a long time in the waiting room, but once they bring me back to an examining room, there have been occasions when I sat in there for a very long time.

While he doesn't have many years of experience, he did listen to what I had to say before he did anything else.I have seen him 3 times now, and everytime he remembers me and what I told him the last time I saw him.He is very personable and friendly.
