Dr. Ruth Henchey, MD

Dr. Henchey was very patient and understanding during my visit. She spent time answering my questions and addressing my concerns. Her willingness to follow through in the areas of potential issues let me know she has my best interest at heart.

I really liked her, she was informative, spent time, made great suggestions was referred to providers for others services,great communication and care.

I have such high hopes for this disappointment. Finally, I’ll be able to figure out what’s going on with me. She was blunt and rude. She cut me off. I definitely did not feel understood. I’ve been having issues since I was a kid with my balance. I’m dizzy and it’s gotten so bad. I can’t stand anymore. She tried to say it’s all bipolar. I wish I read the reviews before I went because I would definitely not gone. Need a neurologist that understands me not one that judges me. I will look into another one. I just hope I don’t fall over and die before then I’ve been suffering with awful migraines for eight years. Don’t know why just know that they are awful and they definitely affect my quality of life. I need to understand why. i’ve had two knee replacements that will not heal correctly due to muscle loss/strength . I left yesterday without a clear answer of what the plan was moving forward… my Speech has been affected. Something happened about for five months ago to where I can’t even… function by thinking right. I just feel really confused since then, and I would need to know that I didn’t have a stroke . All I know is that was one of the worst experience I’ve had with a doctor. I need a neurologist that I can connect with and it was clearly not her. it might be time for her to retire because she clearly does not enjoy what she does.

We arrived 15 minutes early for a follow-up appointment but they treated me like a new patient as they didn't have a record for me. Had to do all the forms again. Then they led us to a waiting rood and left us for over an hour. I asked about being seen and we got "She's running late. She's with another patient. She'll be with you soon." How many patients before me? nothing. We left.

I was truly upset with this doctor. She has the I am God syndrome. Fails to listen to the patients concerns. The patient is the one experiencing problems or side effects with their illness. Bedside manners, Doctors that care, Empathy...this doctor has none. I am not a patient of hers but I take my friend. At first I thought ok she is knowledgeable but after the 5th seizure on the same meds and she was not willing to change the meds that's clearly not working. She said she was 100% sure she could cure the seizures. Wow 7 visits 3 ER Trips and medical bills that goes beyond 8K!! Please West Florida review this doctor!!!

My family was warned when we were told about Dr Henchey that she had a poor bedside manner. We learned rather quickly the she is a rude, condescending person. While her treatment was acceptable her attitude was not. We found another Doctor that we prefer.

If I can leave no stars that is exactly what this Dr. deserves. This Dr. should not be in practice and it is obvious that she does not care about her patients. Wait time over 2 hours. Condescending, would not listen, told me to stop being a 30 yr old and act like a 50 yr old all because I take hormone medicine, this Dr has horrible bedside manner, would not recommend to anyone in fact I would have to say "RUN" as well. Went for medicine to treat my migraines with - got nothing!

Went in for a followup visit. She didn't seem to know who I was or why I was there. She asked why I was there and what medication I was taking. She was supposed to call in a refill, but 10 days later, it has not been sent.

Extremely Rude & her listening skills were horrible to say the least!

waited for over an hour while she did some kind of nurses training was told she does this between patients. she needs to schedule her time differently. Needless to say after over an hour I told the nurses that I was not going to wait any longer. Patients have schedules too which she apparently doesn't care about
