Dr. Ruth H Strauss, MD

This doctor is very rude on the phone. She even threatens you on the phone to get your fired. Why kind of doctor is she ??

I ended up admitted to the hospital when in LA on a business trip following an ER visit with atrial fibrillation. It was my great pleasure to be treated by Dr. Strauss. Being out of town and away from family and friends as well as facing down a frightening condition, I was nervous and spent hours writing down questions I needed answered. Never have I had a doctor so willing to listen - I mean really listen, with full eye contact and an empathetic bedside manner - and answer each one my questions thoroughly and in terms I could understand. While I don't want to meet her again under the same circumstance, I would be honored to be treated by her again if the need arises. Simply incredible doctor!

I have such a high opinion and respect for this lady - she has been so helpful with a situation that has been potentially chronic and problematic and thanks to her I still have a life after heart bypass and 10 years of heart disease. I feel so fortunate to have her as my physician.
