Dr. Ryan Matthew Katz, MD

Dr. Katz is an absolute blessing. My large intestines ruptured 3/23/24 on my daughter’s wedding day and Dr. Katz did emergency surgery to save my life. I came out with a life changing colostomy bag and was not a good patient at the time. I spent 4 weeks in the hospital and Dr. Katz and nurses were very concerned and caring. He and his staff are amazing to work with and very easy to communicate with! I cannot praise him enough! Thank you! Dr Katz!

I had two major surgeries and dr katz was my surgeon he is the best !!!

Spent 2 hours in the office and only 5 minutes of that was with Dr. Katz. The waiting room was empty and Dr. Katz's bedside manner was aloof. Called and spoke to the office manager the next day about the long wait and she didn't care.

Dr. Katz did a laparoscopic cholecystectomy for me after a visit to the emergency room. Recovery was super rapid with little pain compared to friends having the surgery. Good surgeon and a very low key, unassuming guy.

He saved my life!

He was the on call doctor and was very rude and seemed angry that I had the nerve to call with a medical emergency. For reference, I did not call him, the office had an after hours service set up and he was the doctor on call and he was downright nasty. I was very sorry that the dispatch called him. I happily went to the emergency room instead. It was horrible to have to deal with a doctor speaking to me in such a contemptuous way during a stressful medical emergency. If I could rate him at zero stars I would. Zero compassion. Zero professionalism.
