I was very nervous and apprehensive since it was my first visit with an orthopedic surgeon. Above and beyond an excellent experience!! Dr. Ponton was very kind, considerate and approachable. He clearly explained procedures, addressed all my concerns and made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Ponton is a wonderful doctor who I highly recommend!!

Dr. Ponton is an excellent hand surgeon. He worked with me during my recovery to be sure I was back to 100% his patience along with his knowledge helped me to feel at ease and have the confidence that after six months all would be well. He thoroughly explains and answers all questions. He is an excellent doctor and great communicator and genuinely cares for his patients. The surgical scars have almost disappeared. He advised over the next 6 months it will improve even more and if I needed anything to please come in for a visit.

I have had several office visits for “trigger” finger treatments and out-patient Thumb surgery. Dr. Ponton has a comfortable manner when presenting treatment options. He throughly answered all my questions and gave realistic expectations for post - treatment. The Staff at both the Camelot Drive location & the Chesapeake office have been efficient professional. Highly recommended.

Very straight forward. Counselled me to be judicious about when to get cortisone shots.

Dr Ponton was professional and efficient. Staff was friendly and made you feel welcome. Crystal expertly removed the stitches from the surgical site and ensured it was properly bandaged before I was discharged. I would recommend this doctor to any needing an excellent hand surgeon.
