Dr. S Beth Sherrill, MD

I know she is retiring, but I have to say I hope she takes her nurse with her. They both are very unpleasant and not at all friendly. I hope I can find another doctor before the first of the year. As for now, not going back............

Dr. Sherrill is a very knowledgeable and thorough physician. Though some people may find her bedside manner lacking or abrasive, it is because she uses a mini laptop to record all of the details of your visit as you are talking and she is examining you. She will NOT diagnose in an area that she is not certain about, and will refer you to someone who is more skilled in that area. I have never questioned her competence or commitment, and would give her my highest recommendations.

I selected Dr Sherrill as my PCP and wish I hadn't. She is abrasive, arrogant with little eye contact, spends most of her time looking at the computer. She did however perform a chest x-ray that picked up a problem area and referred me for further workup. My husband came with me on my follow up appointment and he asked her several questions but she never made eye-contact with him and ignored him completely. I felt uncomfortable and hesitant to ask questions. I will not be going back.

Has missed diagnosis on 3 different problems. But she usually refers to someone else instead of trying to diagnose. Arogant personally. No follow up. Spends all of time looking up meds on the computer and diagnosing problems cause by mixture of meds-- not

I choose Dr. Sherrill on knowing no others whom had went to her, nothing except she was female, and her group would accept me. I found out very quickly that Dr. Sherrill is VERY through in her exams, especially the first one, and any that are about something that could be serious. Her office calls if I do not make my 3 month exam, even if I am feeling well, and will not refill on a call medications that require what she feels is a necessary blood workup or my needing to be seen due to problems like high blood pressure, thyroid problems. She simply will not call in the refills until I make the appt. and go and see her. While this can be annoying, its exactly what I was looking for; a Dr. who kept track of my health, and cares enough to make sure I keep on track and she has the info to help such happen. Extremely on point. If she cannot or does not have the answer, she is quick to admit that, and promptly gets me into a specialist that can help me.I highly recommend Dr. Beth Sherrill to… anyone who wishes to have a doctor who is complete, listens when you need to be listened to, stays on top of your health, works with you, not against you and is definitely not one of those doctors who feels just get out of my office, here is a prescription. You really have to need the meds for her to write one. She also realizes that most cannot afford the newer expensive drugs and will, if at all possible give you the medicine you really need, but one that if possible is at the generic price.Her bedside manner can be a bit rushed at times, and not always the friendliest, but when its something you need that compassion for, she is great about giving it and listening to you, answering all of your questions. Even doesn't mind, actually does not discourage you from looking your diagnosis or medication online. She gave me websites that she feels are legit, and give correct information.I feel very fortunate to have her as my primary care doctor, and since I normally check out anyone I go to before I call, and this time I didn't, I feel extra fortunate.

Dr. Sherill is the best dr. I have ever had. She is professional, competent, and caring. She only wants the best for me, therefore I would trust her with my life. She also is very personable and quite witty. She is also my husbands dr. I would recommend her to anyone. I am proud of her and I am glad that she is my dr. As for her nurse, she has always been friendly and professional to me.

I really like Dr. Sherrill. She puts you at ease & gets right to the point. She will admit when she is unsure of a diagnosis, which I personally appreciate. The main problems I have are the wait time and her nurse. Her nurse is incredibly rude and has gone on rants about her personal life while taking my blood pressure! She actually makes me dread my office visit! As for the wait time, it varies - I've waited 15 minutes before and I've also waited over an hour and more often than not, I'm waiting over 30 minutes.

Dr. Sherrill is a true scientist and a caring and competent physician. She diagnoses thoughtfully, prescribes carefully, and has provided superior care for our entire family.

Excellent doctor who calls and sends a letter with test results. Bedside manner is a little lacking, but she knows her stuff.
