Sabina Mushtaq, MD

I receive psychiatric treatment from Dr. Mushtaq via telecall through a local mental health clinic. I have been her patient for several months and she is wonderful. She’s attentive to my needs and always is up-front with me about her concerns and is quick to address any questions I have. She is very “hands-on” in that she wants to closely monitor your progress, rather than give you some pills and send you away after 5 minutes like some other doctors. She has shown me a great amount of empathy and understanding for my circumstances and limitations. Dr. Mushtaq is very modern-minded and progressive and has treated me with great respect during every session, which I have not always gotten with mental health professionals as an LGBT person or as an overweight person. I feel safe in Dr. Mushtaq’s care and confident in her expertise. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking psychiatric treatment.

Unlike other she listens patiently and interact with the children very well. Explains all the questions and clearly explains the treatment.
