I have been seeing Dr. Safir Azam for two years now. He is absolutely a great doctor, who listens carefully to his patient..I have tried several doctors and medications previously, but either I didn't feel comfortable with the doctor's way of treatment or his medication.. but Dr.Safir knew immeditaley the best medication my body needed. I feel much better since I knew of him and definitely recommends him to anyone who is looking for a great psychiatrist in Miami Beach.

Dr Azam is a first rate psychiatrist and psychologist. He understands both your clinical and psychological needs. He has an affable manner, is a superb listener and displays great compassion. He makes it his goal to be as accessible as possible and, from my experience, was always at the end of the phone when I needed him. I highly recommend Dr Azam. A class act.

Having relocated for work 5 times in roughly 8 years I have seen a multitude of psychiatrists, and Dr. Azam has been the best without question. He is personable, inquisitive, direct, honest, humorous and most importantly, genuinely helpful. Aside from simply prescribing necessary medication like most in his field, I believe he makes a concerted effort to improve one's mental, emotional, and general quality of life. Beyond his ability as a professional, I've never had a doctor in any field be as responsive and flexible when it comes to scheduling appointments, even when provided very short notice. Additionally, he has always been extremely prompt and I've never had to wait beyond my scheduled time. I highly recommend Dr. Azam to anyone seeking a professional, responsive and caring psychiatrist in South Florida.

Dr Azam has been great and really worked with me to find a mix of talk therapy and medications to help me deal with my anxiety. It was good to have someone who I could take about things that I didn't feel I could share with others. My only wish was that his office was open a little earlier in the day.
