Other's have mentioned that she's cold or indifferent or something. My experience is quite good. She is direct and quick to understand. Her exams are thorough! Underneath her professional demeanor, she's a very caring individual.

I feel validated reading other people's reviews. Dr. Karolia has horrible bedside manner. I rarely ever see her (perhaps twice in the last 5 years) and she seems skeptical of my symptoms and makes me feel foolish for even making an appointment.

Dr. Karolia has been my physician for about a year, and I have found her to be very thorough and caring. I had a couple of issues going on that she caught very early and sent me for appropriate treatment She is young and still learning (aren't we all?) but I'm very impressed with her.

I really have a strong feeling to switch to another provider. Dr. Karolia is an assistant clinical professor according to her profile but I do not really think she has a right to teach medical students or residents how to be a good doctor. She has horrible bedside manners herself. The average waiting time is 25-30 minutes, she never knocks on the door when she enters, she looks at you skeptically as if you were a malingerer. I need to point that I am not a "frequent flyer" to the clinic and I only go if i really have to. I do not feel that she is into my problems and I feel foolish, embarrassed and angry at myself after each visit. I do not think that is a normal doctor-patient relationship and I, unfortunately, need to look for another PCP.

I would definately not recommend Dr. Karolia. She was my doctor for about 2 years and I saw her a few times. She is cold and arrogant. And I realize now also inexperienced. I had a situation where an experienced doctor would have been helpful and known what to do. Instead I was left to figure things out on my own. And her staff is also not nice.
