Dr. Sajid Ahmed, MD

This Dr. Is rude and does not listen to patients. 1st appt he disnt ask me what i was there to be seen gor. He didnt ask his nurse. Half way thur I told him i wasnt there for cancer. 2nd appt, again started with the cancer. I interuppted him and he got indignant. Said he need to annotate the cancer. UH no i wasnt refered to him for that. He told me I was old (im 49) and i just need to take usual precautions. I refused to leave until they got me documentation I was good for surgery. After the pai ful wait this dude was going to make me wait for a care plan. Plz request a different doc if you are forced to utilize this busness. Id give a zero if i could.

First impressions are very misleading! Dr. Ahmed enters the room taking care of business, making sure he is knowledgeable about the patients situation before beginning conversation. Then, he relaxes and explains everything to you. He gives adequate time for questions and empathizes with your condition. He has a very unique sense of humor and puts you at ease.

Dr. Ahmed and his staff at the Tidwell Cancer Center provided exceptional care to my mother who was diagnosed with lung cancer, stage 4. Despite the aggressive chemotherapy she received, my mother looked forward to every single treatment at Dr. Ahmed's office. His staff members were extremely pleasant, dedicated, and loving towards their patients. Even when my mother was admitted to the hospital, Dr. Ahmed would always stop in and check on her. We were blessed with wonderful care for my mother in her final days. Thanks so much Tidwell Cancer Center!!!
