I appreciate her listening to my suspicions and taking into account how I know my own body while also providing her professional opinions and referring me to specialists to further care for my issues. Dr. Jordan is my favorite doctor. She always listens, never makes me feel rushed, and has a very calming presence. She answers all my questions, is knowledgeable, and makes me feel informed.

?Do not come to this practice for menopause support. ?I’m not sure how an obgyn graduates from medical school without knowing how to treat menopause, but that is ?what has happened with? this practice. ?A woman will be in menopause for at least 40 - 50 years of her life. It is unconscionable that a board certified gyn is unaware of how to offer menopause treatment. Dr. Jordan failed to recognize my symptoms as classically menopausal. Instead of counseling me on the fact that HRT can take many months before symptom relief is fully felt, she kept asking me to re-describe my symptoms to her over and over again. It was so repetitive. She tried to refer me to other specialists for my menopausal symptoms instead of offering me gynocological solutions. She also should have counseled me on lifestyle and dietary changes that would enhance the effectiveness of my HRT. She did not. I had to find out through my own research. When I told the doctor that I was experiencing several severely… disruptive side effects from one of my medications, she offered no viable alternatives. She was not concerned that the medication she prescribed me was causing major depression. She told me to keep taking it or to take artificial birth control hormones, which are inappropriate for menopausal women. I was shocked when Dr. Jordan asked me to tell her about the known negative health risks associated with artificial hormones. Isn't she the one with the medical degree? Ultimately, I had to d?o even more? research and send Dr. Jordan multiple? published medical studies? on proven, safer HRT medications before she reluctantly prescribed them.? ?? ? ?This experience has left me astounded with the doctor's lack of knowledge of women's health and with the doctor's lack of empathy.? I would recommend avoiding this practice at all costs. They just don't care about their patients.
