I was referred to Dr. Abbasi for treatment for spinal stenosis. Neither he nor anyone else on his staff took the time to review my last MRI in order to determine what other treatment I might need and when I rightfully complained I was told that Dr. Abbasi has no time to examine me. Notwithstanding, he somehow foud the time to personally tell me to leave and go find someone else. I was told that he had taken on more patients that he could treat. It is my observation that Dr. Abassi is both uncaring and unprofessional.

Dr Safavi-Abbasi is beyond compassionate and caring, no surgeon ego. I love him he's wonderful

I’ve waited months to see Dr Safavi. After having a cervical fusion in May 2022 as an emergency procedure at Barrows, they will only follow up with you for a short period of time if your insurance is out of their network. I was referred to Dr Safavi, and had seen him before, for follow up. Our meeting was minutes long where he told me all is fine and to keep seeing barrows. I told him they told me to see him. He stated “nothing to add. Everything looks prestine.” He didn’t once ask me how I was doing as I am experiencing quit a few problems. He actually giggled and said “nothing to add,” again. I feel alone. I was so hoping he could provide some guidance in recovery. I am so disappointed. He really couldn’t have cared less.

Dr Sam Safavi took great care of me while I was at the hospital and also while I'm here at home lying flat on my back. I do believe you can put your trust in this specialist. I know I do.

Dr. Safavi provided excellent explanations of both my problem and what the options were for treatment or procedures. Surgery/recovery have gone well.
