Dr. Sam Sundar, MD

He was my father’s dr at Legacy SNF, Martinez. My father had pneumonia, and had stopped eating, couldn’t sit up. And was barely drinking for 3 days. I had to call Sundar a few times, and he insisted my dad was fine. I had to threaten malpractice before he agreed to hospitalize him. The John Muir dr and nurses unanimously agreed that my dad was in very bad shape and severely dehydrated. After they revived and treated him, I transferred my dad to a better SNF. To add injury to insult, Sundar had not seen him in 3 weeks, so he was totally negligent in saying he was fine. Needless to say, I would have sued him if my dad had died. For shame. Bad dr, he should NOT be practising!!!
