Dr. Samantha Hye Jung Han, MD

Terrible bedside manner. She told me within 5 minutes I had thickened uterine lining, and would have to be referred to an oncologist who would recommend a hysterectomy. She spoke of cancer more than she spoke of anything without a single test done. Total time spent with me was 7 minutes. I left scared, confused and completely put off of doctors. Wish I could say something good but even parking in her Glendale location is a bit of an ordeal and they do not validate.

I have been Dr. Samantha Han’s patient for over 10 years and I trust in her help to keep my body healthy. She listens to all my concerns and questions and answers those questions and concerns. I feel very comfortable with her medical care.

The only positive thing i have to say about Dr. Han is that her office is prompt, but thats it. She has zero bedside manner and once she is done with you, she heads out the door and gives off a tone and body language that can be described as dismissive. During my visit, i felt she made assumptions about me and my own attitudes towards western med, which were completely inaccurate. I tried giving medical history that has been relevant to previous obgyns ive had and she dismissed that information. I am very dissapointed with the care i recieved, Dr. Han should do better to actually listen to her patoents and hear them out before forming assumptions and dismissing their concerns.

I almost canceled my appointment with Dr. Han due to the poor reviews. I needed a good doctor because I was an older mother pregnant with twins. Dr. Han delivered my babies safely despite complications. Glad I chose her.

I went to Dr. Han as a referral. Not only was my cancer DX there but Dr. Han took the time to personally call me and discuss everything I needed to do for following up. She also fought for me to get in ASAP into the Oncologist. Within 2 weeks I was seen tested further and surgery done. The immediate care caught my cancer before it had spread and I avoided Chemo & radiation because of Dr. Han assistance. Thanks Dr. Han, I truly owe you my life!!!

Dr Han found a tumor in my uterus on the very first visit. Within 3 weeks I had an ultrasound, blood work done, and a biopsy. I thought wow what an amazing Dr. Dr Han told me that my uterus was tilted and the tumor that was inside at the top of my uterus was pushing on my bladder. I have lower back pain and pelvic abdominal pain and my periods were painful and heavy. I feel like I have to pee all the time but it comes out in trickles. All of my symptoms she said was because of the tumor. But she said a hysterectomy would be ideal. I got the results of my biopsy on Thursday the 31st. The assistant said the Dr said all is normal . What a relief right? I said OK and the follow up? Dr Han didn't say anything about a follow up. I told her assistant my pain issues. I called the next morning. Spoke with the assistant again. Dr Han said for your heavy periods we can give you birth control or an iud . I'm 46 years old... For your lower back pain you should see a back specialist. I've been to… the chiropractor and there is nothing wrong with my back. And last but not least for your incontinence you should see a urologist. So in a nutshell 5 stars for service while your there. 1 star for follow up. She did not even look at my chart. She was the one that said it needs to be removed. But she will not be the one to remove it. So I guess I start from scratch while I am in severe pain constantly.

Dr. Samantha H. Han at 191 S Buena Vista St Suite 300 Burbank CA 91505 is the worst doctor on American soil. Her office is not a Doctor Office; itâ??s a butcher house. The staff is overworked and the day is extremely overbooked. They give appointment to clients every five minutes and will make you wait for three hours (not exaggerating) without any sympathy. They have no respect for you or for your time, and God forbid if you are in pain (good luck). They have no customer service and do not care. The staff is so unorganized; the right hand doesnâ??t know what the left hand is doing. When you call for an appointment, they tell you that they are booked for a month. They will scheduled an appointment after a month, and will cancel before a day to your appointment. Without any sympathy; will schedule you after another month AGAIN. Anytime you call the office, the line is always busy and when they answer they say â??hold pleaseâ?? and you are on hold for minimum of 30 minutes. The staff… will say, â??we will call you backâ??, but never do. Dr. Han is after the insurance payments that she will get on our behalf, without giving us the care she is getting paid for. I believe million of the bad reviews Dr. Han got. They are all 100% true and right on. It's good to see people are speaking up. When there is a smoke, there is a fire. I drove my daughter to Dr. Hanâ??s office during her first five months of pregnancy. I was horrified of the treatment we got from Dr. Samantha H. Han and her staff. I begged my daughter to change Dr. Han. It was a nightmare to call or to visit. On the day of our appointment; after we waited for two hours and forty-five minutes to see Dr. Han; she was with us for four minutes ONLY in a very mechanical way and she exited the room leaving us with more questions than we came in. She is extremely detached and has no emotions. She is worse than a robat. She will make fun of your concerns, worries, and pain. You will never get personal care at this office. Dr. Han doesnâ??t have any interpersonal skills; sheâ??s very cut & dry. She is in the wrong profession. She has no clue about patient/doctor relationship. Dr. Han dose not even remember her patients. She told my daughter â??arenâ??t you the one who had twinsâ?? when itâ??s really my daughterâ??s first child. I hated driving my daughter to the butcher house and watch her being abused. Also, they donâ??t validate so we paid $15.00 dollar for parking fee on each visit because we were there over 4 hours. After getting another doctor; we found out Dr. Hun never reviewed the results of my daughterâ??s blood test and that my daughter had an infection and she was anemic while she is pregnant for five months. We were told mother and child have been extremely neglected and some important tests were never done at three months of my daughterâ??s pregnancy. We changed doctor and requested her file; but the new doctor never got it. The staff lied and said we faxed it, but never did. It was only faxed because I said we are on our way to pick up the file, and then it was faxed. If anyone or any insurance tells you to go to Dr. Samantha Hun, run as fast as you can to the other way. You might be running for your life.

I had an appointment waited over 2 months and they called same day to cancel because my insurance group was no longer accepted by their office, awful customer service.....

First, I just want to state that this is not something I do that often; however, I feel it's necessary for the care of other people out there. If I had a stellar experience, I would write in as well. Unfortunately, this was not the case. I would strongly recommend you do not choose her as an OB. From the beginning, she was not a doctor I could ever see myself using for delivery of my child (I'm currently 28 weeks pregnant); however, I accepted her care bc I wanted to use a midwife anyway. I was simply seeing her as a back-up in case anything were to happen. Thank GOD I had the midwife to guide me because Dr. Han did everything but that. From the very first appt, I told her I was working with a midwife. She documented in my file. She FLEW through the appt and basically saw me for about 15 minutes (that was the longest I ever got to see her) to do a pap and an ultrasound. She gave me no instruction on being pregnant (this is my first child). She also did not mention… anything regarding taking pre-natals (which she never mentioned at ANY visit). If I didn't know better, I would never have taken them. I have a heart defect/murmur, which was in my chart, and she never asked about that nor did she check it. She never once took my urine (I saw her from Sept 2014 - Jan 2015) to check for protein. Here are some highlights from each visit I had with her up until she fired me as a patient because I was working with a midwife (which, like I said, was presented to her up front): Waiting in the lobby for at least 30 minutes after my appt time Brought to get my blood pressure and weight checked NO URINE SAMPLE ever taken Brought into a room where I was told the same thing at almost all visits - that she was not in yet (I thought I had an appt?), and they didn't know when she'd be in. Waited another 30-40 minutes for her while in the room, at least She comes in, she puts jelly on my stomach, she listens to the heart beat She hands me a paper towel as I'm laying down to CLEAN MYSELF UP She asks me if I have any questions as she walks out the door I call out a few questions, and she responds as she closes the door and says, "I'll see you in 4 weeks!". This all took a maximum of 2 minutes total! I did this for several months and realized I just can't have a doctor that is going to care more about money than me as a person/patient. I began to slightly consider another. What stopped me was that I had such amazing care by my midwife, why did I care? But, what an about emergency situation? Despite having seen me for those months, and supposedly "getting to know" me as a patient, she told me she would not be my back up doctor should I have any trouble in delivery. This is crazy to me; however, I had no problem not selecting her. Aren't doctors supposed to be interested in helping people out? This is clearly not the case here. I wanted to pass along this information to you because I feel like you'll never know unless someone tells you. I'm sure she's a great person. It just doesn't seem like she cares much about people.

I went to see Dr. Samantha mainly because I recently had a miscarriage after another in addition to continuous vaginal bleeding & irregular periods, as I hardly told her about all these issues in my 1st visit because she didn't have any time or patience to listen to me, more over she ordered about 8 blood works for me to do, which showed that I was pregnant, unfortunately that didn't last, because it took her exactly 20 DAYS to tell me the news, which was a much too late because not only my history of miscarriages but also I was taking medications, traveling & heavily working out unaware of my pregnancy situation!
