Dr. Samantha Leckey Notman, DO

Dr. Notman was perfectly acceptable during my annual physical. She did all the normal things. She ordered blood work and I never heard back from her with the results. I assumed all was well. It was not. I had very elevated cholesterol. If I had known, I would have done something about it. Now it’s gone even higher. Thank goodness I signed up to receive my results from Quest or I may not have known. Scarry

Dr. Notman took her time to answer all my questions and even research things for me! She is very knowledgeable and willing to explain things so that I am comfortable...but without being patronizing. I love her!

This was my 2nd visit with her and now I remember why it took so long to go back. She’s very unfriendly and impersonal and barks at you. The first time I saw her a couple years ago was for a physical. It was the 1st time I’ve ever had a physical when the doctor didn’t even touch me. She just ordered tests and shots (I guess based on my age not any conditions that I have). She’s seriously makes you feel like you are unnecessarily taking up her time. I can’t find anything nice to say about her or her abrupt assistant. I know now why it was so easy to get an appointment with her as I’d be surprised if she had return patients. The other doctors I’ve seen in the practice are good but I’ll never be back as her patient again.

This doctor is my favorite. She is kind and listens. When she sets forth to fix a problem, she whittles away at it until she finds the solution. If she can't find it, she is willing to admit her inability and will refer you to a specialist. She cares about the wellbeing of her patients.

I was very disappointed with Dr. Notman at BEIM. She provided me with medical information that was simply not accurate and when I explained this to her (citing multiple credible sources, including other MDs) she rolled her eyes and quickly became defensive.
