Dr. Samantha Anne Schoenhaus, DO

Came off very cold and a little rude or maybe that’s just how she is as a person. Did not thoroughly explain the process of what I wanted to get done it felt very rushed and uncomfortable. Still left with a lot of un answered questions. I’ve only had 1 appt with her so I don’t know if she was having a bad or stressful day but it’s just my experience.

Dr. Schoenhaus is so sweet and nice. She’s thorough and I feel I can discuss anything with her. The front office is decorated beautifully and the staff are very busy but they got me in right away. I give her and the office a 10!

I think she has the worst bedside manner of any doctor I’ve ever met. Just cold and had a bad attitude. She needs to find a profession where she doesn’t have to talk to people because she clearly doesn’t like it.

I had a great experience with Dr. Schoenhaus. She was very thorough and told me exactly what she was going to do to help me

I have been seeing Dr Schoenhaus for several years for routine gyn exams. While I have found her to be competent, she does not exude a lot of warmth. Since I have only required routine exams, I have not been too concerned about a lack of "bedside manner." I went to her office today for my appointment, however, and had such a bad experience with her office staff that I walked out before my appointment. Upon checking in, I was handed a clipboard with a pile of blank forms - such as one usually receives as a new patient. I told the person nothing had changed since last year and I wasn't going to fill out a bunch of forms that I had previously completed. She responded that I had to do them as part of their annual requirements and I couldn't receive services otherwise. Most doctors' admin staff will give you a print out of the info they have and ask that you provide any updates and give them a new signature. I am fine with that, but I will not do "busy" work or do their admin work for… them. Unfortunately, this sort of thing is becoming the norm in large medical corporations.

Met w/ her 3times. She spent 2minutes w/ me on my 1st visit. The next two visits lasted in seconds. Today was the day for my gender reveal. It was the first time my mom came w/ me. She didn't introduce herself or congratulate me for having a boy. The warmth, the comfort, the care and the compassion was not there. I also found out I was high risk and she did little to explain more about my situation. She said she would refer me to a high risk MD and sent me on my way. Being that this is my first pregnancy, I am truly heartbroken by my experience, I gave her 3 appointments to show me some sense of care....but after today, it is clear that this MD is no longer in touch with her patients and need some refreshment course on bedside manner.

She is excellent doctor, she delivered my two youngest kids, and is nice doctor, she has excellent bedside manners. I would refer her to anyone!!

SHES AMAZING!

I saw her for pelvic pain-burning/sharp pain in uerthra/vagina. The doctor noted my uterus was very tender to the touch but seemed unconcerned. All she did was a swab test. My primary care doctor had tested me for all stds and only found a very small amount of yeast which I explained to her. I do not believe she did her job or really cared to find out why I was in pain. She just said to go get some monistat if you want and sent me away. Not friendly! Why would I go back to a doctor who has such little concern when I told her how much pain I was in? I felt rushed in & out and uncared about by the doctor. I have since seen another doctor who diagonsed me with pelvic floor dysfunction.

Dr. Schoenhaus delivered my baby and helped me through a very difficult post partum period. I dont think that I would have survived with out her.
