Dr. Sami S. Dahr

I received a letter today that Dr. Dahr is moving on to bigger, greener pastures, & I say good riddance. I saw him earlier this year & he was beyond condescending & dismissive. I was told my appointment would last approximately 4 hours, so my ride dropped me off & left. The appt. was less than 45 minutes & most of that time was spent waiting for my eyes to dilate. I was also told that an at home genetic test would be sent out to me within two weeks & that it was imperative that I send it back in ASAP. I never received it. When I called the office to inquire about it, the person who answered the phone said, "Of course you haven't received it, because we didn't send it out." I called a few more times & was told they would check on it. My primary Dr. even called & was told "She didn't receive it, because it hasn't been sent." So much for customer service skills & caring about your patients. Going to this "Dr." was an absolute waste of time. I hope he treats his new students better than… he treated his patients.

I was referred to Dr. Dahr several years ago for macular edema that has caused one eye to be almost blind. Dr. Dahr is the most qualified physician in our area for this problem. He has advanced training from the National Institutes of Health in Washington. He has injected my eye many times, and each injection improves my vision for 3 months. He also performed surgery on that eye to remove a layer of material that was troublesome. In all of my visits, he has been most helpful, informing me of my choices and possible outcomes. His staff is kind, respectful and efficient. This week, he injected me with a new 2-year pellet. Without a doubt, Dr. Dahr has given me many more years of improved vision and I am blessed to have him as my physician.

Dr Darh is so kind and truly wants to help his patients. The best doctor I’ve ever had he is so knowledgeable and I completely trust him with my care.

My experience has been excellent. Lobby wait time is minimal. Dr. Dahr is extremely thorough, compassionate, and professional. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Dohr seen my son and saved his vision in his eye.He his retina was just hanging on by a thread; He immediately jumped on the case as soon as he seen the problem. Dr. Dohr and his staff is woderful.

I am so thankful to Dr. Dahr for the diagnosis. No other doctors were able to diagnose my condition. He took all of my physical symptoms into consideration, not just the symptoms that pertain to the eye. He also insisted I come for the initial visit. I kept putting it off because it is a 2 hour drive. He actually called me at home and let me know how important it was that he evaluate my condition. You dont find many doctors that take the time to give that personal attention. I was told by the ophthalmologist that referred me to Dr. Dahr that he is expert in his field. That statement was truly correct! He is a professional in every way.

Dr Dahr is an amazingly brilliant surgeon. I had a giant retinal tear that had been there for several weeks. Without Dr Dahr's surgical skills & aggressive treatment I would have lost vision in my eye.
