Dr. Samreen Akbar, MD

If you’re looking for a doctor who will understand and take good care of you, look no further. Dr. Akbar is the one! I’ve been going to her since 2020, she delivered both my babies and i must say what a wonderful, caring and knowledgeable Dr. she is. I had a few issues with my 2nd pregnancy but she always took the time to answer my questions and with her guidance i knew i was going to be okay. I can not say enough how great she is. Thank you Dr! Maria at the front desk is amazing too.

Dr. Akbar has been my Gynecologist for over 7 years. I found her after I had my youngest son; my previous doctor was no longer serving me and my body the way she had in the past. Dr. Akbar is warming, amiable and kind; her bedside manner is top tier. Dr. Akbar's staff has been warming and nice, which is always a plus when you're going to a doctors office. Maria has been there since I've been going (she's sweet), this says a lot about how the doctor treats her staff. The past couple of years I had been suffering, and she attempted to help me. It seemed like there wasn't anything that would help me. I realized this was affecting my everyday life, I was becoming angrier. This year, before my annual check-up, I went in to talk with her, and the way she sat to listen to me made me feel so good that I cried. She offered me a solution that would change my quality of life, and she answered all of my questions. I feel good, and I'm much happier!

I saw Dr. Akbar for my first pregnancy and have nothing but amazing things to say about her and her entire staff! Dr. Akbar is extremely knowledgeable, warm, and always took the extra time to answer any questions I had during my checkups. I was scheduled for an induction but ended up needing a C-section (unplanned) due to concerns regarding the baby's heartrate/ability to tolerate the induction. Dr. Akbar did an incredible job with the procedure and reassured me the entire time. I will absolutely be going back to Dr. Akbar for all future pregnancies!

Everyone was very nice, and it is nice to be treated well since you are the patient in need of help. Caring, smiling and laughing is a good atmosphere for patients. I will continue to come here when my family doctor isn’t available. I was very well taken care of.

A sweet and knowledgeable doctor!

Dr. Akbar is by far the best physician I have ever come across. She has amazing bedside manners. Is willing to answer all your questions and your spouse's questions. She gives you her opinion and best judgement for your case. Dr. Akbar will call you back during time of need. During my pregnancy, I had a few questions/concerns, she will squeeze you in her schedule even if she was booked. During my delivery, she made my delivery smooth which made me motivated at ease. I highly recommend her for your "lady-needs"

I was referred to Dr. Akbar by a friend. I started seeing her when I found out I was pregnant. The staff is wonderful and Dr. Akbar is great! I had to have an emergency c-section 1.5 weeks ago and Dr. Akbar did an amazing job. I would highly recommend her!

Dr. Akbar has been nothing but amazing. I went to her for both of my pregnancies and they both went smooth. She would answer all my questions and is very down to earth. During the deliveries, she motivated me and made the whole process go well. Definitely recommend!
