Dr. Samuel M Davis, MD

I saw Dr Davis on Tuesday after having a car accident on Sat that resulted in a fractured lumbar. He spent 5 minutes, if that, with me, didn't touch me, and said that since I still had pain meds from the ER, to call when I ran out and he'd call them in. I called Thursday morning, waited 24 hours, and called again. I got out of my MRI at 3:45 and stopped by and the office was already closed despite the closing hours posted being 4 on Friday. So Dr Davis went home for the weekend without calling me back or calling me anything in, leaving me to suffer until I don't know when. I feel like I'm being treated like a drug seeker and that his conduct has been offensive, unprofessional, irresponsible, and inhumane. My experience with Dr Logging years ago was so much better.

After looking at my x-rays & MRI, Dr. Davis said he couldn't see anything causing my pain in the neck area except a little arthritis. He referred me to a neurosurgeon who disagreed with his findings and found that I have a some spine levels that could be pressing on some nerves. I have degenerative disc disease. I have already had one previous fusion and possibly looking at 3 more levels in my neck that may need to be fused. Dr. Davis barely spent 5 minutes with me. The neurosurgeon I met with spent at 30 minutes going over things with me, giving me the pros and cons I needed to hear. I felt like the only thing Dr. Davis was after was collecting the $50 co-pay. I will not be seeing him again.
