great and highly caring treatment

The promptness of this office in seeing us at the appointment time was amazing!

Dr. Engel is a great Doctor and his assistants are pleasant which makes my children feel more comfortable. My 3 year old is more comfortable with them than his Primary Doctor; good job team! The only complaint I would have is the front desk staff! Some of the girls are very compassionate, helpful and pleasant to speak to. In all of my visits there I have only had one real problem where the supervisor got involved. Personally, I feel like the situation was being handled better with the woman I was originally speaking to and she didn't even call for the supervisor; she just came over. That was embarrassing, it made it appear to the patients in the waiting room that I was causing a problem. This made me feel very uneasy, if it weren't for the exceptional care of Dr. Engel I would steer clear. I DO recommend Dr. Engel to friends, family, coworkers and anyone on social media seeking an ENT. However, I do warn them about SOME of the front desk staff as well!

I have been using Dr. Engel for 7 years. He was always courteous and took the time to answer all of my questions. When my daughter had her tubes put in, she walked right into the OR with him- without putting up a fuss (as she usually does)- and that's because Dr. Engel was always so nice and friendly to her. I would highly recommend him.

Put my child at ease during visit. Staff well trained and highly professional. Highly recommend this practice.

I loved this doctor he was great with my son who had a tonsil and Adenoidectomy. My son raced him to the OR and was loving every minute of it. Best with kids.

I brought my daughter to see Dr. Engel and he made he feel so comfortable and not scared. He explained everything thoroughly. Would recommend him to anyone with kids.

We don't have a lot of money. I got health insurance for my kids through NJ Family care program. I was very fortunate the Dr. Engel participates with NJ Health. He specialized in pediatric ENT and it's very hard to find qualified doctors in my plan. I have to say, I loved him, my daughter loved him, my husband loved him. I couldn't ask for a better, kinder physician/surgeon. We are lucky to have found him. He made all the difference in my daughters quality of life.

I NEVER RIGHT NOR TYPE IN CAPITALIZATION. IT IS VULGAR AS WAS THE EXCUSE OF A DOCTOR. AFTER SPEAKING WITH STAFF MEMBER OF JERSEY SHORE UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER THEY ASKED WHY I WAS NOT REFERRED 2 THE BRILLIANT DR SEAN HOUSTON. SOMETHING OBVIOUSLY IS WRONG WITH THE OFFICE MANAGEMENT. HOWEVER , DR ENGEL COULD HAVE BEEN GRACIOUS, KIND, AND CARING NONE OF WHICH HE WAS!!!!!!!!! TO ME THIS WOULD INDICATE I WOULD NOT WANT HIM TREATING MY CHILD OR PET. FOR A YOUNG PHYSICIAN HE HAS LOST THE MEANING AND DEPTH EMPATHY AS A MEDICAL DOCTOR, IF HE EVER HAD IT 2 BEGIN WITH. WHY DON'T 'THESE' TYPES' of PHYSICIANS GET THEIR M.B.A. INSTEAD OF PLAYING GOD. THIS MAN WILL NEVER BE A PHYSICIAN IN THE TRUEST SENSE NOR A DEITY NOR A GENTLEMAN. HE WAS CONDESCENDING AND DISMISSIVE. STAFF WAS LESS THAN KIND. I AM PRESUMING ONLY THEIR VIP WITH THE BEST INSURANCE ARE TREATED WITH THE UPMOST RESPECT AND CONSIDERATION AND GOD FAITH. I LEFT IN TEARS.

Dr Engel is absolutely wonderful with children. His compassion is unparalled. I brought my twins to another Pediatric ENT before I went to Dr. Engel and I will never go back to the other guy.
