Dr. Samuel Paul Gubbels, MD

Dr. Gubbels performed brain surgery on my mother, Deborah Baker. The surgery absolutely destroyed her life. She has never been the same. This doctor was paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to help my mom with her brain tumor and instead, he destroyed her life. Do not trust this doctor. He is not careful and does not care about saving lives. He ruined our family. She would have been better not having surgery with Dr. Gubbels in the first place. AVOID!

As far as I can tell, Dr. Gubbels is a great surgeon. He preformed my 3rd tympanoplasty and it has not ruptured or perforated, unlike the two before his. But because of Dr. Gubbels unwillingness to listen and investigate my concerns before he preformed surgery, I am now dealing with a list of symptoms that I wasn't before. I stopped seeing him after it became very clear that he had no interest in helping me resolve those symptoms.

Dr. Gubbels, his assistant, Tracy Page, and his associate, Dr Youssef, and his NP, Kristin Kasper, gave me the best experience possible in light of the location and the quick growth rate of my acoustic tumor. I was presented with the facts, with various means of treating this tumor, and with the success vs. failure rate of my various choices. I did not feel pressured to choose any particular coarse of action, and it was my decision to move forward with surgery. Tracy was good to call me back in a timely manner with the answers to different questions that came up as I waited on my surgery date. Both surgeons took time to greet me prior to surgery, and I felt as though both of them were keenly interested in providing me with the best possible outcome. Dr. Gubbels took special interest in my case and interceded on my behalf concerning the kind of medical coverage I have that is not normally accepted by the hospital. Although our time was limited in our appointments, both Tracy and… Dr. Gubbels are very personable and were able to portray a sincere concern for me, the individual. I highly recommend Dr. Gubbels and those working with him.
