I was diagnosed with breast cancer in Aug, 2017. I immediately searched the internet for a surgeon practicing at Trinity and was very impressed with Doc Sam Licata's ratings and made an appt to start the dreaded road i was about to face. As i was going through a series of testing the staff at Trinity, in every dept had the utmost respect for Doctor Licata and it wasn't long before he earned mine. No matter whether a tech or nurse from all department's seemed to have a positive story of a loved one or even themself who had been taken care of by him. When i shared this with Doctor Licata, he simly replied "and i'm going to take care of you too" and he did just that. My surgery was Nov. 2017 and i am blessed to say have been cancer free since with no chemo, radiation since. Like the so many other's cared by Doctor Licata, i am proud to say i highly recommend him to anyone facing breast or other surgery.

There isn't a better doctor in the state!!

This doctor told me that I was simply constipated and needed to go see a psychiatrist. I ended up going to another hospital where I had to undergo an appendectomy.

Dr. Licata is an absolutely WONDERFUL surgeon. I didn't even need Advil following my surgery because there wasn't any pain. Also, the scar is minimal and will probably disappear completely, and I only had surgery a week-and-a-half ago. He explained everything clearly and thoroughly. I would recommend Dr. Licata to anyone who needed a surgeon and would go back to him in a heartbeat. He has excellent bedside manner, knows what he's taking about and is a phenomenal doctor!
