Dr. Samuel Shatkin, MD

Dr. Shatkin did my tummy tuck. After numerous pregnancies and C-sections, I was not happy with results from diet and exercise. I had my tummy tuck five weeks ago and I’m super excited with the results. My only regret is I didn’t do it sooner. Dr. Shatkin and his staff are wonderful.

Had a rhinoplasty 2 years ago. It doesn't look good. It looks the same if not worse. Looking for another plastic surgeon to correct it. My nose looks wide, twisted and uneven. Also, he didn't do what he told me he would do before the surgery. Beware: my negative reviews were deleted from other sites. That's how he receives his high score.

I wouldn’t recommend, if you don’t fit the description... Shatkin and administrative staff, especially the receptionist, Kim seemed uncaring, I sensed an attitude from her, because of a scheduling mistake SHE made. They constantly gave me the run around... (excuses, lies). Every time I make an appointment, it put off/cancelled, has to be rescheduled. Shatkin and staff are not very accommodating. I’m ready the reviews of others who recently had cosmetic procedures done, yet MY APPOINTMENT needs to be rescheduled (yeah, the know who they accommodate). You played with my time, but you will not play with my hard earned money. How many times do you expect me to inconsistently schedule time off work, just to have to repeatedly change the days. It’s EMBARRASSING! Besides COVID, it is my belief that no one else has been PUT OFF like I have, seeing the reviews within the same timeframe as my appointment. Just pitiful. They hook you with the good deal, then think they can string you alone until… THEY get ready to deal with you if at all... I actually had to do the receptionist/clerical staff’s job for them... I had to reach out to anesthesia, I had to schedule pre-op. These people are supposed to be calling and making arrangements with me. It’s disheartening. Shatkin seems some type of way and his staff covers for him. I was looking forward to this, but I am not sure anymore.

Best doctor hands down had a tummy tuck just 2 day ago could not be happier with my new tummy overall great service wonderful bedside manner nice staff would recommend to anyone consider plastic surgery he changed my life like I could never imagine I have so much confidence now Dr. Shatkin is my angel

It’s been 6 months since my procedure with dr Shatkin, He and his staff are amazing, I’m so grateful I chosen them , they are the best ,if you thinking about any procedure don’t think it twice you want to choose the best, and they definitely are. You only have one body have it treated by the best

If you are considering a facelift, look no further. I couldn't be happier with the outcome of mine. Dr. Shatkin addressed all my concerns, performed a near painless surgery and provided excellent after care. His practice offers state of the art skin care procedures. I wholeheartedly give his practice five stars!

Dr shatkins did Bose work on my nose and something bad must have happened during the surgery cause when I woke up he said I had some bleeding issue,and he said my nose must have been broke worse then previously thought.I believe that was his way of covering up a bad procedure.he won't even see me again and with no reason,he just says go find another doctor.I am left with a very odd shaped nose and crooked and even very twisted.One day very soon I am going to protest Dr Shatkins and I am going to make it my life to see him every day and remind him of what he is trying and hoping to cover up!

First of all the staff was very much a "put off". I should have stopped right there when I felt uncomfortable asking questions. But of course the main reason I am finally writing this review is because of the poor outcome of my facelift. Not only did it not give enough lift to my mid face, which is the area we had talked about...but to this day which is about 7-9 years later I am still embarrassed by how much hair I am missing since that day of surgery. I still have to wear my hair longer than I want to, to cover up my hairline and above my ears! I think it's getting worse as I get older.i Hope he's gotten better for anyone who does try him.

He was excellent. Listened well and was very patient with questions. excellent follow-up. Very happy with the results.
