Dr. Sandeep Mistry, MD

Dr. Sandeep G. Mistry is an excellent Urologist and above all a great Person. I have had several kidney stones and Dr. Mistry has treated me with utmost care and diligence. He has a very calm and positive energy around him which resonates. Dr. Mistry makes stuff happen! I Have a kidney stone right now and He is taking care of it. I am confident that this stone will be out like the last one a year ago. His experience and knowledge in his field is paramount. The sense of urgency is impeccable. Not only is Dr Mistry and great Physician he is also a great Leader of his Team. I have had 6 appointments since I moved to Leander TX in the past years and I have always had a very pleasant experience with all of his office locations, the staff takes the lead from Dr. Mistry and Mrs. Donna Lee THE (Office Manager). I have also been seen by Ms. Leanora Brown, CNS and she is fantastic! Extremely knowledgeable and a genuinely great & caring person. Ms. Diane got me a Stat CT scan in 55 minutes,it was… like I went to the ER. Miss Liz got me an emergency appointment to discuss the results. Thanks to the entire TEAM??

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. Dr. Mistry lacks bedside manner and comes across as arrogant and condescending. If he could change that, I think he could be a very likable doctor. He is very knowledgeable. His office staff even seemed to take orders from him with their mouths shut.

Failed to plan even a script for post surgical pain

After several visits with Dr Mistry, he recommended that I go ahead with surgery for my enlarged prostate, since at age 66, it would be better to do it before I got older and less able to tolerate surgery. He also said that due to the size of my prostate, he would have to do open surgery vs through the urethra. Fortunately, I got a second opinion and the doctor assured me that I was in fact a good candidate for intra-urethral surgery; and equally significant, he said that there was no reason to do surgery now since I was having no symptoms. He said that older patients tolerate the intra-urethral procedure very well and he did not recommend anything at this time. I know this may have been a professional disagreement between physicians, but I just felt that Dr. Mistry was overstating my need for surgery and too anxious to get me scheduled.

Exelent doctor

I was very disappointed. He did not care about the problems resulting from surgery. I had more problems after the surgery than before my surgery. Went to a different Urologist.

Dr Mistry is very doctor there is not doctor like him anymore he took time for me to talk and listen for stuff i had to say about myself he became a good friend and as well a great doctor for me yes I would send friends there and his staff of his office they are awesome to thank y'all for all you done for me
