Dr. Sandeep Singh Teja

Surgically, he is spot on. As a person, he is inappropriate, arrogant, and brash. Being in a sergical room with him is down right uncomfortable. His arrogance is so thick, it clouds his perspective of what is and isn’t appropriate.

I had been suffering for over five years. Dr Teja and Jackson explained my MRI in language I could understand and was very professional. After surgery, I am ready to travel and live a fairly normal life. Wonderful doctors, staff, and everyone connected with them. Thank you all.

I have had 2 surgeries by Dr Teja and both have terrific out comes, he explained everything before and after surgery in detail that I understood that is a great plus, friendly and took time to talk to me and answer any questions I highly recommend him .I give him 5 stars

I have had 4 separate cervical spine fusions with 4 different surgeons. I immediately felt comfortable with Dr. Teja. He was caring and listened to my history and concerns, was thorough in evaluating my condition and I could tell the depth of his expertise as he showed me my MRI, explaining exactly what was going on in terms I could understand. Having had a couple of negative experiences with previous surgeons, I felt I was in excellent hands with Dr. Teja and had wonderful results!

Dr Teja and his staff are great. Dr Jackson is awesome to answer questions and very personable.

I had a very good experience and really appreciated the professionalism and expertise prior to and during the surgery. I had nothing but positive things to say. Then the ball got dropped. The surgery went very well. But I found that I had questions and issues after surgery. I didn't necessarily need to speak to the doctor, but a nurse or specialist who knows what I'm going through to guide me. I called several times during business hours (but outside the lunch hour), only to get the answering service or an answering machine. This made me feel like I wasn't a very high priority. I got the impression that the doctor had done the surgery, now go away. It is because of this that I only chased someone down (that's the way I felt) when I was in excruciating pain and considering going to the Emergency Room. The P.A. called me back a few hours later. It wasn't timely considering what I was going through, but it was helpful. I had other questions and issues after speaking with the P.A., … so I made the call attempts again - getting one or the other answering device. This happened a few times, so I just quit trying. A few days went by and I tried some more. I eventually got a live person. I believe that triggered the call from Dr. Teja, but by the time he called me, it was long enough after the fact that my issues were gone, and I just used the call to update him and ask him a few questions. I really felt like I shouldn't be calling him. It's just the impression I got. I've had plenty of time to consider this. It occurs to me that as the patient that just had a VERY serious surgery, I should have been followed up on. I felt fine the first couple of days after surgery, then the muscles in my neck swelled up and I was in excruciating pain and couldn't move. Was I to expect this? No one told me to expect it. I should have had the prescription for the muscle relaxer on hand since that was coming. Who's walking me through this? I was heavily medicated for the next week. I had to decide on my own how to come down from all of this. A follow up appointment weeks later isn't appropriate follow up care considering the seriousness of the procedure and implications. It's not my intention to slam the doctor or this office, but this end has to be fixed. It is a determining factor in whether or not to choose this office in the future, or when it comes to recommending your office to others. Please fix it, because other than the follow up, your office has been outstanding, and I do want to be able recommend your office. Thank you!

I hsd a very serious spinal challenge with a great deal of Pain. Dr. Teja carefully reviewed my xrays, and other tests as well as gave me a thorough exam. His care for me before,during and after surgery was so professional, kind and thorough. I would highly recommend him for his work.

Dr. Teja operated on me in 2008 after I had consulted with him about my MRI. I had undergone surgery in Charlotte N.C. with no relief from the pain. After looking at my MRI, Dr. Teja sat down with me and explained exactly what my back problems were and my options for the future. He was straight forward, honest and in my belief, truly concerned about my welfare. I would not hesitate to go back to Dr. Teja nor would I have any concerns about possible future surgeries. I have complete confidence in Dr Teja and have recommended him to many other people who suffer from the same type of back pain that I endured!

This Doctor is disrespectful with his coworkers and other staff personnel at the hospital. He is also careless with other and is only after money.

Dr. Teja took the time to listen to my problem and showed incredible compassion in helping me deal with my spine issue. He didn't just jump into doing surgery, rather we tried conservative therapy for several months. When eventually I came to surgery, I was very hesitant and Dr. Teja took the time to explain the whole procedure to me. My pain was gone the same day of surgery and hasn't come back. He is the best physician I have ever encountered.
