Dr. Sandra Lynn Beretta, MD

Before becoming a patient, I had the distinct privilege of seeing Dr. Beretta work in the Operating Room during one of the medical missions to developing nations she so generously volunteers for, since I work for one of the organizations that organizes the trips. Not only did Dr. Beretta do stellar work in the O.R. and keep her whole support team calm and steady despite some difficult circumstances (due to an unusually strenuous environment - 14,000 ft. altitude), she also expressed a special gift when talking to patients. She would look them in the eye when explaining what would happen next and how they were doing. Also, she would reassuringly pat them on the arm. I saw the faces of her patients light up when she did this, even though the did not speak the same language. They understood intrinsically that she cared deeply about making them feel better. These are the reasons I chose her as my doctor. Now, as a patient, I can say that's absolutely the kind of doctor she is. She cares… deeply for her patients' well-being, wether they are in the Operating Room or the Exam Room. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience to draw from, and is constantly in contact with other doctors, exchanging information, learning more. She is fantastic: A+ to her and her staff. The only warning I would give at all is that her schedule is ridiculously busy, and it may take a while to get an appointment. However, once in the office, my wait time was very short - less than 5 minutes. Surely, if you choose Dr. B, yours will be just as convenient. Good luck making your choice.
