Worst doctor. Wrongly Diagnosed my mother and doesn’t even listen properly to her patients!

MD Sandra Everett was my mom’s eye specialist. We went to her on end of August for regular checkup, treated my mom for her dry eyes, she put two small plugs in her eyes to help with dry eyes. After her treatment, one eye was fine for few days but on the other eye mucus coming out every 10 sec non stop even though she wipes it. Also, it’s teary and the water that’s coming out smells really bad. And it’s hurting the eyes and whole eye is red. The doctor said if something happens to give call to see the doctor for the side effects. Within 2 days we called, she sent eye drops. Still didn’t fix the issue. Took appointment, didn’t wanna give us appointment, kept saying oh just use eye drops. Been using eye drops from August still her eye is red, teary, and mucus coming out.its been 56 days!!! We took appointment with the doctor, only her assistant seen my mom. We requested the doctor to come many times and the assistant requested her TWICE. Still the doctor didn’t come to see my mom, just… told her to use the drops! Doctor told her assistant that all those symptoms are happening cuz her eyes her extreme dry. We told them how come her eyes wasn’t red, teary or mucus wasn’t coming out before August 27th!! My mom went for regular checkup!! I can’t believe a doctor can neglect their patient like that specially when she is the reason my mom had the infection!! At the end we went to reception, Asked for a doctor change. They changed our doctor. My mom suffering with her eyes infection since August 27,2024 to till Today (10/23/24). It’s been 56 days after doctor Sandra put the plugs!! While writing this my body is shaking cuz I can’t believe my mom is going thru this much pain and suffering cuz of this doctor.

Extremely cold to me. She told me to get a cornea transplant without even looking at my medical history. Got a second opinion and was told not to get one, due to my diagnosis and situation. DO NOT go to her!

Dr. Everett can appear somewhat cold and disinterested but be assured that she is 100% on top of your situation. In my opinion, there is no finer corneal specialist in this part of the state. She considers all options and chooses the best that would fit your needs. If you do not understand anything, just stop her and ask for clarification. She will give you information at your level of understanding. I'm so very blessed to have been referred to her when my cornea was scratched and subsequently became infected. In addition, she corrected cataracts in both of my eyes and the procedure was not intimidating whatsoever.

I do not recommend adrenaline Sandra Everett. She was very rude to me and my husband from the time she walked in until she left! When I asked a question she said look it up on the internet! Seriously!!! This is what I am paying for? She was all about herself though, as if she were god! I will not go back!!!

I am SO SORRY I did not do more research before going to Dr. Everette. Seriously.. I did not realize that I was dealing with a highly egotistical human being until my first cataract surgery and then it was too late. Wait times 2-1/2 to 3 hours regardless of type of appointment....pre or post surgical follow-up (not just me...others waiting with me to see her!) Rushed through appointments (never introduced herself) and when asked specific questions for clarification, the answer was... "you can look it up on line!" Really!? I am in healthcare myself and this experience was the epitome of "an all time horrific experience!" The (front desk staff) at the Orchard Park site were great! You might find a (few) who were happy with Dr. Everett but the "many not happy will outweigh the few!"

The staff was able to get me in to see D.r Everett when I had an eye infection.. Everyone was polite and even stayed past closing time . Dr Everett was polite and understanding .

Not enough room to properly express dissatisfaction. This woman sholuld not be allowed to treat patients!!! Wait time was over 3 hrs!

DR.EVERETT IS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWLEDGABLE.. SHE EDUCATES YOU SO THAT YOU KNOW WHAT IS OCCURING AND IF THERE IS A PROBLEM ,WHAT TREATMENTS ARE AVAILABLE. HER SERVICE IS COURTOUS , THOROUGH AND IMMACULATE.HER STAFF IS ALSO VERY COURTEOUS
