Dr. Sanjay Gopala Reddy, MD

I would rate with no stars if I could. Initially, I was ok with this doctor. But, I began having issues with balance, arm pain, numbness of fingers, falling, neck and shoulder pain progressively worse over a few months. Dr Reddy told me I was deconditioned, needed PT, Carpal Tunnel evaluation. After weeks/months he finally ordered a neck x-ray that showed severe problems in my neck. I asked for an MRI of my neck. He raised his voice and told me I was over utilizing my insurance benefits. He and his staff only put down neck pain for a recertification diagnosis for Aetna review. Of course, it was denied. I called Aetna myself and gave them my real symptoms which had become unmanageable. Reddys office resubmitted after numerous messages from me which many were not returned and the MRI was approved. I referred myself to a neck surgeon who admitted me through the ER the same day I saw him. I had emergency neck surgery that same afternoon.I would not recommend Dr Reddy.

Arrogant & didn't help me in any way!

Dr. Reddy is the absolute best. I first went to him after several visits to the ER. He was so kind and patient just made me feel like everything was going to be just fine. He gave me confidence in taking tests that I should have taken years ago. A year later I got sick and went to the ER they admitted me. Keep me 4 days, ran all kinds of test they found nothing. I was discharged on a Monday evening went to see Dr Reddy on Tuesday he immediately diagnosed me. He's the BEST!!!

This dr cut my fathers toe for starters and didn’t cut it down enough sent him home without antibiotics to stop it from getting infected but only pain meds and caused an infection which led to him having to have the other 4 toes amputated. After amputating other toes instead of closing the wound he states to just let the skin grow back over it on its own. Also had my dad walking around with a bag attached to his foot for dead skin. Next thing you know my dad has gain green now which has gone up his leg and now has to be amputated. Now dr redding states he can’t cut his leg because its too overwhelming. Well guess what dr redding if you can’t cut a leg then you can’t cut a toe. You messed my dad up for life and we will see you in court

I scheduled an appointment online to become established with an internist in my new city. I received a call within 10 minutes from his receptionist to cancel the appointment, because the doctor "screens new patients" prior to scheduling. I was instructed to go to the office to fill out an informational form, which I did, and was told the doctor would not review the form without first seeing my insurance card. I input my insurance information when I scheduled the online appointment and did not have my card with me. I work in healthcare and understand the process of scheduling new patients. Due to the lengthy process to schedule an appointment and the rude receptionist, I chose not to schedule with this provider.

Very knowledgeable, pleasant and understanding. Actually, listens to your problems and tends to your needs. Would recommend him.

Top Notch Doctor. Only seen twice. Did not mail or call after Lab work or X rays. Doctor is very kind, Professional and explains everything. Might be that the nurse just lacks in getting back with results, it has been several weeks. I had to call them to find out results.

Dr. Reddy is unlike any doctor I've ever seen before. He takes a genuine thorough interest in evaluating whatever he is presented with. He brushes up on your situation and past visits before he comes in the room. He explains in the level of detail you want. He gives great respect and dignity to me with every visit. Longview is blessed to have a doctor like Dr. Reddy. I wish there were more like him.

He is the most friendliest doctor I have ever been to. He is very sharp and diagnosed me right on the first visit. I had been to several doctors for the same problem and no one had figured it out. I am glad I have found this doctor. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a internist in East Texas
