Dr. Sanjay Ignatius Serrao, MD

Went twice, had a miserable experience, he was confrontational, didnt listen to a word i had to say. prescribed a few medictions, which i refused to take with out 2nd opinion. went to another local doctor, and he had no idea why i was supposed to take them. my parents have been going to him for years, one with cancer, the other with a 10 year stroke. they literally have a gym bag of medications, and an excel spreadsheet to track them all. no thanks, a drug deal with a medical degree.

Dr. Serrao has been a great primary physician. He is prompt, professional, competent and kind. He is a good listener. He did not push any medications. His staff is also professional and efficient.

I HAVE SEEN HIM FOR YEARS AND FINALLY GOT FED UP. HE IS A PUSHER OF ANTI DEPRESSANTS NO MATTER WHAT YOU TELL HIM. I WENT TO HIM AFTER THE PHARMACY SAID I NEEDED TO GO TO THE ER FOR MY BLOOD PRESSURE , I WALKED IN TO HIS OFFICE AND HE BARELY PUT THE CUFF ON MY ARM AND SAID I HAD ANXIETY. WALKED ACROSS TO THE HOSPITAL AND THEY TOOK ME BACK IMMEDIATELY WITH A BP OF 189/115. I AM DONE!

I recently relocated and was lucky enough to choose Dr. Serrao as my PCP. He is super smart, listens well and explains well. Highly recommended!

While my father was in the hospital he was under his care. We believe the doctors failure to address the main problem in the abdomen resulted in my father to have a heart attack. When my mother attempted to address the issues, the doctor became defensive, rude and then walked out of the room while she was still talking and asking questions. They delayed treatment for 48 hours and even after a cardiac event, confirmed myocardial infarction, they delayed transport 12 hours to a cardiac facility. It took threats of legal action to get the process of transport started.

We love Dr. Serrao as our physician. My mother cannot speak, yet he takes time and shows her respect to communicate with her. Most people ignore her and simply use others to interpret what she is saying. He also works diligently to get to the root of various issues with any of us.

Sanjay Serrao is an insufferable jerk with a God complex. He pushes vaccines, doesn't follow through on referrals you request; in fact, he insists on referring everything to other doctors, will not dispense pain meds. He is pretty useless as a physician, as far as we are concerned. Might as well be a crabby nurse for all the good he does. He has a one track mind, doesn't listen to his patients or believe in anything to keep someone healthy other than pharmaceutical intervention and old outdated methods. His staff is nice, he is a self-important jerk.

Without a doubt, the MOST caring, direct physician by which I have ever been served. He doesn't mince words, but he takes the time to really listen to his patients and explain how and why he has come to the conclusion that he has. He brings a wealth of knowledge to the table and shares it in a way that his patients can understand. I cannot say enough good things!
