Dr Saqib Ansari, MD

Ansari is an arrogant clinician who did not listen to our medical concerns, which resulted in substandard medical care and wasted insurance coverage. We told Ansari that due to our having been punched in the nose as a teen and not receiving proper care, our nasal passages are chronically swollen and we cannot breathe freely through our nose; that an ear, nose, and throat doctor had recommended a balloon sinuplasty but we had not had it; that subsequently we previously used a full face CPAP mask covering both mouth and nose; that we preferred this type and were highly skeptical that a nose only mask would work. Ansari dismissed our concerns, insisted that a nose only mask would be best, and prescribed one. As we expected, we could not breathe through it. Our insurance requires at least 4 hrs use per 24 hrs per 21 days per consecutive 30 days in the first 90 days. We got our CPAP on a Friday, thus wasting 3 days of insurance until Monday. We have complained about his substandard care to… the CA Medical Board.
