Dr. Sara Ann Brown, DO

Dr. Brown was great! She took time to listen to all of my issues, no matter how minor. She gave a thorough exam and referred me for further testing and therapy. She even followed up afterward to see how I was feeling.

I feel the need to defend Dr. Brown after reading the other reviews on here. She has always been very helpful to me and all of my running friends that I referred to her. She has been understanding when I have been late for appointments. She always gets to the root of the problem and guides me on the right path to fix it. She explains everything to me which a lot of doctors don't seem to take the time to do. I would highly recommend her to anyone that I know.

After popping my lower back doing front deltoid extensions, I took time off to let it heal. After some time and no relief, I knew this was no sports injury that would heal itself. I was recommended to this practice, and Dr. Brown specifically, and honestly I have NEVER been left feeling more disatisfied with any medical attention in my life. First off, I had done rigorous searching about my condition (a bulging lower disc), and was pretty sure my symptoms were easily identyfiable by a professional. Instead of first doing tests, we went straight to physical therapy with ATI for 6 long weeks. Granted, I did learn some nice core exercises. But, this helped not one shred of the pain I experience 24 hours a day, especially if coughing or sneezing. Now, after the initial 6 weeks, I was sent back for 4 more weeks of this, with again no effect. A good Dr. alone would have listened to what I had to say. I'm not an internet know it all, but having been an athlete for 30 years, I feel… I know when something is wrong and how to accurately describe the symptoms. A great Dr. would have quickly concluded that I do indeed have a bulging disc, and only medical attention, not physical therapy (especially not focused on the "core") would treat my ailment. Now, thanks to Dr. Brown, I do not have the great insurance I had, and have no chance of receiving the proper medical treatment I require, and thus I am left with medium pain most days, and severe some. If you are considering this practice, my suggestion is to quickly forget you have ever heard of it. This is easily the worst Dr. I have ever been to in my life.

Canceled my appt because I was running 5-15 minutes late on a Friday afternoon. First time visiting, I waited over 30 minutes in the office, no problem. But for a Dr. to cancel an appt on a Friday afternoon at 3 PM because she "had some place to be" at 3:30 PM is unacceptable in my opinion. I spent the entire weekend in excruciating pain and ended up in the emergency room for some adjustments and pain pill relief.
