Dr. Sara Filmalter, MD

Dr Filmalter has a set of qualities that you don't often find together in one physician. She has true empathy for her patients, exceptionally good diagnostic skills, integrity and when called for, takes action! If she believes or says something is going to be done you can count on it happening and in a timely manner. My wife and I feel very blessed to have her as our primary care physician. Best of all, she is just a very likable person.

I have been a patient of Dr. Filmalter’s for 4 years. She is both knowledgeable and compassionate — and extremely pleasant. I have used her for a range of minor and major issues and have always been satisfied with her diagnosis and treatment plan.

Dr. Filmalter is AWESOME. I recently switched from Baptist to Mayo and there is a huge difference between the level of care provided at Mayo compared to Baptist. Dr. Filmalter actually reviewed my file prior to meeting me so she was familiar with my health history. She totally took the time to discuss my concerns and scheduled appropriate follow up testing and schedules for me. Mayo is run like a very well oiled machine. I have seen 2 of their doctors now and have been totally impressed by both. For the first time I feel like my doctor is looking out for me. Mayo's patient portal is superior to any I have seen. Dr. Filmalter also responds to your e-mails when you have questions or concerns. I am truly amazed at the level of care provided by Mayo doctors, and Dr. Filmalter in particular.

Dr. Filmalter is very health and fitness oriented. She's also one of the most compassionate physicians I've had in a very long time.
