Very patient doctor

After waiting 6 months for an appointment with Dr. Lubitz, she told me that my case was too complicated and to see a doctor in Manhattan. Apparently she only has the expertise to treat simple endocrine disorders, even though I was told when I scheduled my appointment that she does treat my condition. She also has a horrible bedside manner. When I asked a question, she responded “You’re not understanding what I just told you” like I was a child. Save the 6 month wait and find a good endocrinologist

Dr. Lubitz is very knowledgable with current information. She listens attentively with a great deal of empathy. Her followup is prompt and caring. I highly recommend her.

She is the best

Dr. Lubitz is by far one of the best doctors of any specialty that I have ever been to. She is a doctor for the right reasons, empathetic and truly takes the time to listen to your concerns and complaints and answer them to the best of her ability. I have recommended many people to her and will continue to do so.

Dr. Lubitz is outstanding. She is extremely knowledgeable, sharp, and has the kind of personality you want in a doctor. I went to see her to have a rare pituitary problem diagnosed and in the process she uncovered an unrelated problem. I'm very grateful that she is so thorough. This is a doctor who spends a lot of time with patients, will look you in the eye, and will remember specifics from earlier appointments. She presents treatment options clearly and is very transparent about the pros and cons of each. I've never felt rushed in an appointment. She has a collaborative approach to discussing treatment options both with patients and her colleagues (in her own hospital and beyond). She contacts me quickly with test results and makes it easy for me to contact her with questions. You can tell by the way the other doctors interact with her that she is respected and influential. I couldn't ask for a better doctor.

I felt very comfortable with Dr. Lubitz, she answered all my questions with great detail and listened to what I had to say. I left feeling very relieved and well taken care of. I would recommend her highly!

I was appaled at the way this Dr. spoke to my young daughter who suffers from Type 1 diabetes. She was very unprofessional and told her straight out that she was not in the business of caring but that she was there to monitor her insulin intake making her feel uwelcome in her office. After an er visit my child went to her dr. expecting compassion and a caring attitude and this dr. seemingly was focused on adjustng her insulin and sending her on her way, not even asking her how she was feeling. I know this because I was also in the room, needless to say she was unprofessiional and uncaring and treated us as if we were low class citizens. She had been highly recommended, therefore I took my child there for I want the best care for my daughter and in turn she was embarrassed and rejected. My advice if you're a run of the mill patient that just wants a prescription and in and out care, sure go to this office, if you're someone that needs care understanding and attention from your… physician, find someone else.

She CARES! If she doesn't know - she'll find out, if it's out of her expertise - she will recommend someone to you ( and talk to those before you come). We need more docs like her.

She is one of the most thorough and compassionate doctors I have ever been to. She takes her time to listen to you and does everything she can to make you feel comfortable. Her diagnosis and treatment have been exceptional so far. I have and will continue to recommend many people to her.
