Dr Sara S. Prasertsit, MD

We had terrible experience with this doctor. Used her for about half of a year. It turned out a waster of time and money. Besides costly consultation fees, she requested a lot of tests (these simple tests cost a lot in that institution she worked in). Obviously, she could not make the thing logical. I mean she could not come up with her assessment based on test results and the in-person consultations. So, she refused to answer patient's questions, since she was not able to. Besides costly consultation fees, all she did was to request a lot of tests. Then, she compiled data from those tests into nice notes (to show her boss her nice job, I think). At the end, patient paid a lot of money and could not see much progress in the medical condition.

Recently I went to checkout an eye infection and saw Dr. Prasertsit. It turned out it was normal eye infection and did not require any medication, just simple wash. She also noticed an eyelash in my eye and removed it. I was handed 527$ bill for the service a month later. 322$ for office visit and 205$ for removing an eyelash!!! I want to warn patients to ask Dr. Prasertsit how much she will charge you in advance for any procedure she performs on you or be prepared to pay handsomely. I called several times but was told she used Forceps to remove the eyelash (like I could not have washed it) and that automatically means 205$. Although I am not complaining about her credentials I have lost my trust in how much she charges and will not go there anymore.
