Dr. Sarim Shakeel Ahmed

Dr. Ahmed is a skilled surgeon with excellent bedside manner. A tough combination to find in the field of orthopedics.

After a hip revision & 2 more years of appointments, Dr. Ahmed just dumped me...After MRI, bone-scans, CT scans, etc & he wanted to do another hip revision - suddenly I became, "Persona Non Grata." Ahmed wanted me to see a Core colleague & that Dr. was frightening. At least the second opinion Core Dr. said something to me, "There is nothing more that we can do." Dr. Ahmed just dropped me, never returned phone calls, nothing. Dr. Ahmed made me have tons of tests & then drop-kicked me! He had lots of plans for another revision but then NOTHING!! Ahmed had all sorts of plans for my hip, including another revision - suddenly & without warning my two plus years of having many, many appointments & tests - he slammed his proverbial "Doctor Door" in my face. My faith & belief in him ended just as fast as he dropped me as his patient. It was so obvious that a more senior doctor or doctors told him NOT TO SEE ME AGAIN! The Core Institute clearly operates like any other private sector firm:… If not getting a great return on an investment (me)...screw the patient and just say, "There is nothing more that "we" can do." Say...who is the "WE" Ahmed? Your cronies who don't want you to spend another minute with me...CUT HER LOOSE.! Saw a colleague of Ahmed's & he said the same words," "There is nothing that we can do." Hmmm.. What ever happened to the first sentence of your HIPPOCRITIC (OH Sorry,!!) HIPPOCRATIC OATH that begins, "FIRST DO NO HARM."

I would highly recommend Dr Ahmed. Excellent bedside manor. Very smart and acts quickly when a situation arises.

I had an infection in my right leg. I went to other doctors for a year.. They could not find a problem. I called the hospital and ask the orthopedic nurse who is their best orthopedic doctor, she said dr Ahmed without hesitation. He found the infection the first visit. I will not use any other Doctor. He is the best
