Dr. Sarosh Vaqar, MD

My mother recently received "care" from Dr. Vagar at Baptist Hospital in Collierville, TN. The rating reflects very poor communication skills. Additionally, the physician did not provide any medical guidance regarding treatment for my parent. I felt that her primary goal was to discharge the patient as quickly as possible. I had requested a phone call from the doctor, as my long work hours prevented me from being present during her rounds, but I was told she does not make such calls. When the case worker contacted me to ask whether I wanted to dispute the discharge, I explained that I did not have enough medical information to make an informed decision. The case worker said she would ask the doctor to call me. The doctor called while I was at work and speaking with a client, and twice told my husband that if I wanted to speak with her, I needed to end my call immediately. After this interaction, we contacted the case worker and asked for immediate discharge. I found this doctor to be… extremely unprofessional and disrespectful.

I don’t know what the previous reviews are talking about. She was my mother’s doctor and took excellent care of her. She explained everything and updated us daily. Made me feel at ease and got my mother better.

This doctor lied right my face.... She said she talked to my G I doctors about discharging me from the hospital but she did not... Told me my x Ray showed no stent stuck in my intestine but there was one... I have no respect for this doctor ... If I could have rated her with negative numbers I would have given her negatives numbers for everything!!
