Dr. Satoshi Steve Kamada, MD

Dr Kamada has become our extended family's doctor. He has been instrumental in the diagnosis of several serious conditions in our family - which has been lifesaving in one case. He is always able to take same-day visits in time-sensitive situations and he spends time to understand patient issues. Coming from a doctor's family, we value his expertise and he has become our doctor of choice.

The Doctor has postponed treatment for condition and has provided a misdiagnosis on more than one time. He ordered the wrong tests and didn't seems to know what he was doing. No treatment plan was created. It should also noted that the guy is an insurance scammer. This doctor need to be monitored by some agency governing to check to see how well he is treating patients and his knowledge as well. I've been his patient for a couple of years because I didn't speak Engslish back then, and should have left earlier.

This doctor is not up to date with modern medicine and medical care at all. He is clearly incompetent and hasn't read modern medical updates since he original training. He continued to be useless, prescribing the same medication over and over. That's all he can do. He needs to go back to school and practice. This was the biggest waste of time. If you want proper medical care, PLEAE DO NOT GO.

Dr. Kamada has been our family doctor for over 10 years. He takes time to address your concerns and symptoms, and is thorough in making a correct diagnosis with appropriate treatment. His office is immaculate and his staff is incredibly gracious and friendly. Over the years, Dr. Kamada has assisted my family with everything from minor illnesses to emergency room visits and week long hospital stays. He is compassionate, respectful, attentive and committed to his patients well being. We have recommended him to numerous family and friends who have embraced him as their family doctor as well.

As a private business owner and research biologist for over 20 years, I have extremely high standards and expect nothing short of professional, respectful, personable, well informed advice, and diagnosis from a physician and their staff. Dr. Kamada has served as my primary physician for over seven (7) years and he and his staff have consistently exceeded my expectations on all of these points. His courteous staff is always a pleasure to deal with and no request is too small for them to almost always follow up with the same day. In regards to Dr. Kamada, I have never waited more than 10 minutes to be admitted and he always takes as much time with me as needed. There have been several times where I have literally come in with an outline of questions and he patiently and professionally answers all of my questions. Also, following my annual check-ups, Dr. Kamada always calls me at home to discuss the results of any tests and provided me credible and defensible advice on improving my… health which has led directly and indirectly to a higher quality of life. It should also be noted that I travel from San Diego to Irvine for the privilege to be cared for my Dr. Kamada. I highly recommend his office if youâ??re looking for an exceptionally knowledgeable general or family physician and staff that always welcomes you with a sincere smile.

Dr. Kamada has served as my family physician for over 10 yrs. On one occasion during a weekend I had suffered a serious Gastro-intestional issue. A call to my GI doctor ended in his refusal to care for me on the weekend & telling me to report to any ER. Being in such severe distress I then called Dr. Kamada with the hopes he would be able to provide assistance . Not only did he take my weekend calls he insisted I immediately report to the hospitals ER and he would meet me there. At Dr. Kamadas recommendation I was immediately hospitalized and recieved the proper testing. Thanks to Dr. Kamadas professional response and acurate patient care i fully recovered. Ive always found his office staff helpful and professional when making appointments or when providing patient care. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a family physician .

Dr. Kamada was my doctor for several years. In that time he seemed to value his time more than concerning himself with the proper care of his patients. Because of his lackluster approach to medicine he misdiagnosed me, and told me a condition would just go away. Luckily I got a second opinion and a major life threatening condition was found. Dr. Kamada often refused to do further research into my symptoms. He is definitely one of those doctors who is more concerned about volume of patients and not spending time to aggressively treating your condition. He also laughs at people who want to deal with conditions, rather than just the symptoms. If he is your doctor you will literally have to beg him to follow up on your condition. When I had a suspicious bump under around my thyroid, and asked him to check it, he said it would have to be the size of an orange before he would send me to a specialist.

I'm completely satisfied with him and his staff.

Make an appointment and when you show up you are immediately greeted by your name. The staff is so polite and courteous you can't believe you are in a Dr.s office! Dr. Kamada actually calls you personally with test results. Could not ask for more.

Dr Kamada, diagnosed a friends very rare heart issue, something like 1 out of 100,000 people have this condition, and after months of being misdiagnosed by other doctors, he found the problem, tested, confirmed, and started surgery/treatment to save her life. I went to see him when i had an uncontrollable high fever with no other symptoms after my friend recommended him, and found he was easy to get a long with, explained that it could be a number of things, but since i had already been to the urgent care and under anti biotics certain tests wouldnt be as definitive as we would want, i was then hospitalized in the ER after i reached over 104 degrees temperature (7 days of non stop fever), went back to see him, he put me on a different antibiotic than the urgent care or ER and two days later my fever finally broke. regardless of if it would have subsided before hand, i liked how i was treated by his staff and him, i never felt rushed, or marginalized when going to the office. i felt… very comfortable, he has a very sarcastic sense of humor which suits me and was able to candidly communicate with him, never felt rushed or like a number.
