Dr. Saul Herschel Helfing, MD

Saul Helfing was my psychiatrist for a few years while I was dealing with anxiety thru a divorce. I truly appreciated him and his expertise. He left California and wow was I bummed! He’s the best.

I have met with Dr. Helfing and found him compassionate, knowledgeable, and very down to earth. He is not a Dr. who goes on and on with psychobable, but is very practical. I would rate Dr. Helfing a 5+!

If I had a choice of being treated by dr helfing or a rope I would definitely choose the rope. However after his sub standard care and prickly demeanor he had no problem charging me $500 for 5 worthless minutes of his time. Thanks again dr helping for helping yourself to a little more of my money

Avoid this doctor is at all possible. He won't return phone calls and to this day, he will not provide me with MY medical records. In all honesty, I should have reported his behavior to the medical board. Imagine a person with depression or mental illnes having to deal with a doctor who will not return phone calls.
