DR Magitsky replaced my arthritic hip about 12 weeks ago He and his staff did an awesome job Hip pain is totally gone have done my PT work and working on increasing my flexibility which will take a little more time. I would totally recommend DR M and his staff he may be late at times and make you wait but my experience the wait is worth your time

I waited over 90 minutes for my appointment. When I spoke with him about it, he said he was busy answering questions for other patients, which held him up. I told him that it was not polite to keep patients waiting for so long and that I should have been told he was running late. He agreed and apologized. Has he been better? I don’t know. I only saw him that day and the day of the surgery. He has a very good reputation. And, though I hadn’t been told what to expect after the surgery, which made me ill prepared when I got home, the surgery went well. As a doctor, I would give him 5 stars, but for this appointment, 3 stars is a gift! I really would give a 1 star rating for the very long wait.

He put my elbow back together. It was as good as new after 3 wks!!

great wonderful dr. has taken care of me for 8 yaers.my knee got ran over by a fire truck. he has been there for me ever sence.THANKS DR MAGITSKY.

Dr, Magitsky operated on my arm after I broke it in a couple of places after sustaining a fall. My surgery went well. He doesn't smile much, but once you get past that , you realize he's a really nice guy, and focuses on the surgery he did, and your well being. Follow up visits went well and the office staff is quite pleasant.I do agree with the previous reviewer about the quality of care at Sturdy. Seems the standards have gone down a bit. And all the staff appeared frazzeled all the time ( The ER and Recovery Room and OR experiences were great though) But that Montplauser unit ( unsure of spelling) was like a zoo. I and my family have spent alot of time at Sturdy over the years, now it seems like they're cutting alot of corners. It shows.

I found Dr Magitsky ( he's in Attleboro, MA... Not Illinois),to be absolutely professional when caring for my mother. My 73 year old mother tripped , fell, and suffered a broken hip and wrist. The hip required surgery, and Dr Magitsky was quite kindand took his time explaining the procedure to my mother, which put her and myself at ease. The surgical outcome was excellent.I did have a problem with the Sturdy Hospital staff on the Montplaisir unit. Perhap administrators might want to consider having enough staff for the number of patients on the unit. We had a great nurses aide named Mary . While she was tending to my mother, the aide was interrupted by managers etc, to do this and that for other patients, many numerous times. It was quite disturbing to the point of being rediculous.. This happened all the time according to my mother and her room mate. Sturdy never used to be this way. Everyone was working, but everyone seemed overwhelmed and distraught the four days my mother was… in the hospital. I hope this isn't Sturdy's new norm. Poor care is why I stopped going to Norwood Hospital.
