After I recently broke my toe, Dr. Savitha Elam-Kootil Kootil - of Kaiser-Permanente's Gwinnnett, Georgia, facility - not only provided excellent care and follow-up, but also discovered along the way, within my medical history, a forgotten lab test - ordered by another physician - the significant results for which had neither been addressed nor forwarded to me. Upon discovering that reference within my medical history, Dr. Kootil immediately took action to ensure the results were addressed now. (The results of Dr. Kootil's ordered retest, by the way, showed normal prostate function.)I not only applaud to Dr. Kootil for her evident professionalism and thoroughness, but also thank her for her equally-evident genuine concern for her patients. Dr. Kootil is in my view a great asset to Kaiser-Permanente, and I am very glad she is my primary-care physician.
