I love my Dr., Very caring and thurough.

The office staff are kind and prompt. Dr. Shama will spend an appropriate amount of time with you, but does not take the time to actually understand the patient. She makes gross assumptions of your symptoms and will diagnose you based on said assumptions, allowing for unnecessary testing. If you challenge these claims, she will say her documentation backs her up (of course it does, why wouldn't it?) and that you need come up with your own solution. However, despite this, she does take the time to make call backs, which is important! If you decide to go to her, I would say you need to ask her to clarify her diagnoses and to make sure that she heard you correctly. If you don't, you risk being charged a ton.

Thorough annual physical, takes an interest in preventative tactics rather than just treating symptoms.

She detected 2 clots in my Lungs, called the Hospital to let them know I was coming in. Sent me strait to the hospital. I went strait to Emergency no wait. They found and eliminated the clot. I'm here to tell about my experience, with her and Gwinnett Medical Center.

Normally have same day appointments. Dr Shama listens to my comments and spends as much time as necessary. She is the best family Dr I have had. All her staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

Medical assistants like to call patient's and give unecessary worries to patients before the doctor even reviews lab results. Georgia Clinic is definitely not a place you want to go for healthcare. They will run unnecessary tests and charge your insurance an arm and a leg and leave you with the rest!
