Dr. Scott Daniel Callaghan, DO

I really liked working with Dr Callaghan. He did not treat me like he was so much smarter that I am which he undoubtedly is. Our conversations we normal and he make sure that I understood everything. I saw Dr. Callaghan for over 10 years . I have struggled with cluster headaches most of my life. We tried a few different ways to get my suffering under control , until finding a way to finally ease my pain. Great doctor that truly cares and listens.

I have been seeing Dr. Callahan for around 13 years for tension migraines. I love that he is a straight shooter, and has tried many options to get me to where I am today, which is maybe 1 migraine a month, if that.

He was rude, uninterested and barely assessed me. He placed me on Zonegran (for headaches) and told me to be compliant and come back in a month. I was a zombie on this med. Every doctor I have seen since him said they would never prescribe this med for headaches and were applaud he chose this medication over all the other choices. He made you feel as if you were bothering him and even stated that my case was uninteresting. He is the rudest doctor I have met.

He has experience and was accurate with a condition he had found, but his rudeness is not excusable. When patients ask questions because they need information help, being curt and rude by telling them to not call unless they become incontinent is wholly unprofessional. The number of delays prior to treatment was also unprofessional and my life was impacted by that as well. I hope other patients of his will also share their experiences.

I would refer this dr to anyone needing a knowledgeable, professional neuro consult and treatment. His bedside manner was incredible. Neuro testing is more than uncomfortable. He explaines step by step what to expect and possible outcomes and/or treatments.
