Dr. Scott Walker Lisson, MD

Dr. Lisson is the most knowledgeable physician I have encountered. His diagnosis and treatment of my condition could not have been better.

Dr. Lisson entered the room immediately stating that he didn't know why I had been referred to him because he couldn't do anything for me "pharmacologically" because I am pregnant. He then feigned to listen to my symptoms but cut me off. I asked about concerns over recurrent UTIs (especially during pregnancy), to which he responded simply by saying they are normal for young sexually-active women. However, he did not even inquire if sexual activity was the trigger. I also expressed concerns over multiple voiding contributing to UTIs (not fully emptying the bladder), which he proceeded to tell me was an "older woman's problem". I'm not sure if he was implying that I was lying about my voiding patterns because I am not old enough, in his mind, to have them. It was evident that he was irritated to even be listening to me, although he did make a patronizing attempt not to seem irritated. He provided absolutely zero counsel or compassion.

Dr. Lisson treated me for a prostate problem. He is a great Doctor. He is very friendly and knows his profession. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a urologist.

Dr.Scott Lisson and his wife Dr.Gail Lisson are theives! They own a second home in Southport NC in a gated community! They ask me to buy and install numerous yards of mulch and to put down fabric beforehand so weeds dont grow through Mulch. It literally took me a whole day just to put fabric and pins around all the trees and shrubs on this corner lot. Well to make it short, the both of them are doctors and they only paid for mulch and not all the time and money we put into buying, cutting, and installing all the hundres of Yards of Fabric and Pins I installed! Just to be vlear I send this invoice to them on a monthly basis and they look at it everytime I send it and never pay.......its now been 2 and a half years and now they have a roofer putting a new roof on their home in St.James but can't pay for labor and materials for lawn work they ask for 2 years ago! I was diagnosed with breast cancer and have no insurance and now am struck with paying a hospital and doctor bill I cant even… fathom paying because of people like the Lisson's not paying their bills! These people are straight out monsters!

Dr. Lisson is professional and knowledgeable. I had prostatitis a few months ago. My first urologist ordered very expensive and risky exams for me without any explanation. I visited Dr Lisson for a second opinion. He believed that I was fine and I didn't need any complex exams or treatment. All I need is to rest and let it ago. He was very confident with the diagnose and patient to explain my condition. He was absolutely correct. I fully recovered after a few months. All the cost was the fee of two office visits.

Dr. Lisson seems to be a decent doctor, however his office staff and nurses are rude and difficult. A patients care is not at the top of their priority list.

Dr. Lisson is both caring and thorough. I have seen him for several years and his staff is professional and the wait time is minimal. I would highly recommend him!

I can not say enough good things about our experience with Dr Lisson and everyone who works in his office for my moms kidney stone surgeries as she had to have 2 of them within a short amount of time as both kidneys had stones in them and one was HUGE. He is great with the patient, he thinks about options before he comes In to talk with you and he guides you on your best options. For my mom to feel comfortable with him and trust him I knew we had the right man and I am happy to say we did. Everyone from the receptionist, to the nurses, and x-ray tech were caring and nice and were just as great at their jobs. It’s a clean office and just a great vibe when you are there - smiles everywhere and I honestly felt like everyone enjoyed their job which I feel is important when you are discussing your health. Thank you for taking care of my mom.

I had a vasectomy yesterday, everyone was very nice and the procedure was fast and painless. As I was leaving the office I started to feel very flush and unstable so I asked for help from the front desk. It was seconds and the staff was out front to help. They assisted me in getting back to a room to lay down and got me recovered quickly with water. They were very patient, caring and helpful. Dr. Lisson was easy to talk to and provided excellent communication.
