Dr. Rushton performed an extensive anterior posterior cervical fusion with excellent results. His demeanor is calm, respectful and professional. My MRI film was reviewed and the reason that surgery was necessary clearly explained. He is a gifted surgeon and conscientious in every aspect of care. I had delayed having surgery due to fear and my trust that I would be safe under his care was warranted. His staff were very competent, caring and professional.

Long story short i have been living with leg pain for a long time, I met Dr Rushton and within 5 minutes of meeting him i knew he was the only choice. I cannot speak highly enough of Dr Rushton and his entire staff and i mean everyone associated in that office. If you are considering having surgery i would make sure Dr Rushton is on the list of potential surgeons

I persisted past the office staff because Dr. Rushton had performed surgery on 2 of my siblings and they had gotten good results. My initial call was taken by Mary who mocked me and hung up on me. After speaking with other staff, I got an appointment and eventually successful surgery. 15 months after surgery I was assaulted at work and one of my titanium screws was broken and a new injury created. Since it was a workers comp case they refused to help. In several instances, when I called to make an appointment I was met by Mary's unprofessional, deceptive, incompetent and hostile behavior. When I brought this to the attention of the office manager, instead of dealing with the cause they refused to treat the patient. Let me be clear, Dr Rushton, good surgeon. Office staff, hostile and militant in their adherence to bad practice. In a nutshell they lack common human decency. 5 stars for Dr. Rushton, the staff.............

Job well done went as expected with a great ending

Dr. Rushton has given me my life back!!! Having been in back pain for years and worsening symptoms, e.g., leg numbness, shooting pain and inability to lift my leg, and many failed treatments e.g. steroid injections, chiropractic, PT, acupuncture, dry needling, etc. I decided to have a laminectomy and fusion with Dr Rushton. He is amazing and his staff, nurse Donna Garrison and PA Stefan my results are outstanding!!!

I visited Dr Rushton, a recommendation from my PT, for continued leg and hip pain and discomfort. He was professional, caring, honest, and explained procedures and technique quite well.Dr Rushton used visuals making things easier to comprehend. I had many questions and he took his time to explain. I did not feel rushed during the appointment.

Dr. Rushton is a gentleman, incredible surgeon, father and husband. Dr Rushton has taken care of me since 2004. I wouldn't even consider any other surgeon to take care of my back. He speaks and tells things like they are in words you can understand. I'm telling you if you ever need an orthopedic surgeon Dr Rushton is your guy.

I had decompression surgery in March, and I was very pleased with Dr. Rushton, his staff, the hospital staff, and the surgical results. I do not have one complaint, only positive things to say. Highly recommend Dr. Rushton.

Originally came to see Dr Rushton for a second opinion. After meeting with him and his staff, I decided to have him do my surgery and cancelled my surgery at Rothman. I definitely made the right decision and am so glad that Dr Rushton did the surgery.
