What a great Dr! I went to Dr Selco for a second opinion and from the time I sat down with him to go over my paperwork, i felt that he cared. He agreed with the diagnosis, provided a plan or treatment, ordered blood tests to determine what exactly I had (CIDP), and at the end, I switched to Dr Selco and have been happy ever since. His treatment plan, engagement of my concerns and questions, his staff, and his way of doing neurology for rare conditions is so wonderful that I can't say enough good things. Thank you, Dr Selco!

An angel sent from heaven!! His amazing!

Three years ago at this very time, I was in the ICU @ St Rose de Lima suffering from a critical illness. My vital organs were shutting down and I was experiencing ICU Syndrome, a very real thing for critically ill older people. Dr Selco was very patient and listened to my ramblings that were no doubt incoherent. Once I “came through” this devastating time, I slowly became aware of just how much this man had helped me. When I was admitted I was so sick and quite a mess, weighing 182 pounds, smoked cigarettes and had not taken care of myself and ultimately had contracted the flu resulting in severe dehydration. I want to thank Dr Selco for being so kind and understanding of my condition. He, along with an excellent staff, did save my life. He made me laugh as we discussed how impulsive I am. Today I’m grateful because I’m 130 pounds, work out every day, have not had a cigarette since Feb 4, 2016 and I am in pretty good health st 63 and mostly enjoying my life. I say mostly as I do have… fibromyalgia but overall I’m good. I never had the opportunity to thank you Dr Selco so I’m doing so now, three years late but just as grateful now as I was then. I owe you my life. You are my hero. Thank you for not giving up on me and for making all of the right decisions which ultimately saved my life. No words can express my gratitude.

My father and I had been traveling to many different doctors and we were still at a complete loss of what was going on with his health, which was all too painful to watch him lose increasingly more significant function in an otherwise active man. Words cannot express how thankful we are that Dr. Selco brought him back to life! He quickly solved his complicated case with ease like Dr. House (except with a great deal of compassion). Thank you for being outstanding Dr. Selco!

I recently met with Dr. Selco following a stroke. I was immediately impressed by his keen attentiveness and facile discussion of the medical implications associated with my particular issue. I have know doubt the the feelings of confidence engendered by his manner hastened what appears to be a guarded recovery. I endorse Dr. Selco with great enthusiasm. Should you be fortunate to find yourself with him on the team in a strategic capacity consider yourself 'charmed'.

While in the hospital being treated for MS he was was there daily to check on me and listened to how I felt. I also saw him during physical therapy. He seems to know and enjoy his work. Which is important in any field of work. Great Doctor!

A doctor with a heart like your own family.

My husband was in ER at St. Rose Siena for 33 hrs (due to a lack of available rooms) where we saw Dr. Selco for the first time for a Subdural Hematoma. We were very impressed with his concise, knowledgeable manner. He then came by to see my husband the next day and explained in detail what he had and what we needed to do from that point on. My only problem with Dr. Selco is that he is an in-hospital-only neurologist and we can no longer see him.
