Dr. Scott I Sircus, MD

Although Doctor Sircus was called away for a emergency I still got to meet him and nurse and I felt very comfortable and very informed. This is someone I was looking for.

My conversation with Dr. Sircus was clear and concise. My only complaint was that I had to wait an hour to see him. Not sure what caused the delay.

Doctor Sircus is professional, polite and thorough. The staff at MIU are great.

Dr Sircus is an excellent urologist Dr He explained my diagnosis and treated the problem I would recommend him to everyone

Wouldn’t go to this location again. The young girl with the short bob hairdo was very unprofessional at check in. She canceled my appointment upon my arrival stating that I needed a referral, which was completely false. When I asked her where she got her information she lied and said your insurance company. It clearly states on my insurance card “No Referral needed”. I was in so much pain that day. It was hard for me to breathe. Once the young lady finally took the time to look at my insurance card, she frowned and said she needed to talk to her supervisor. When she returned to the front, she stated that my insurance was fine but she had canceled my appointment and had to reset it. She needed assistance to do it. My appointment was for 11 o’clock. I didn’t see the doctor until around 12:45. After waiting for almost 2 hours, the doctor examined me for about 60 seconds and told me he was 99% sure that I had diverticulitis and sent me to the emergency room to get a CAT scan. He… wasn’t thorough at all. I felt like he was rushing and uninterested and when I tried to ask some questions, he just stated that he’s been doing this for a long time and has a lot of experience and I feel like he was blowing me off. I was at the emergency room for 6 1/2 hours getting bloodwork, urine samples, CAT scans and in pain only for them to tell me that they didn’t see anything surgical and that I didn’t have diverticulitis and gave me a referral to see a gastritis. I feel I should be refunded my $135 co-pay. My insurance company should be refunded there fee as well.
