Worst Endo ever. I asked to get a pump and he said I need to get my diabetes under control before he would allow me to have a pump??. Got a new Endo and that was the first thing they recommended. My diabetes is now in control. He has NO business being a DR

First I was immediately put on a low iodine diet that I was on for a week, then was told I didn’t have to be on it for another month because they couldn’t schedule my scan when they were supposed to. Called about the diet to ask about a few of the diet options and they were no help, the nurse said, “we gave you a packet didn’t we? So you have the same information we do.” I would think that specializing in this and prescribing this diet to people that they would have more information. At least have a dietician to help or something if they know nothing… I was also told that because I was getting a non radioactive dose of meds that I could continue breastfeeding, find out from the radiologist I cannot breast-feed for three days after taking that pill because there is a small amount of radioactivity that can make it into breastmilk so I had absolutely no time to prepare my baby who is fully breast-fed to stop feeding for three days so I had to do that cold turkey which made for horrible… nights with no sleep. Was also told to stop my methimazole four days prior to my scan and I live in Kansas and have to drive to Joplin for the scan so I drive to Joplin and then was told I was supposed to be off my medicine for a full week not four days so had to go back the following week and make that drive again.

Won't answer questions and will withdrawal from being your doctor if you ask them. Nurse is rude as well.

old me that prior treatments that helped me was probably wrong and bet my blood levels wouldn't reflect that then didn't order tests that would have proven him either right or wrong. Told me just because I was feeling good under prior doctors medical care didn't mean it was good for me. So I ask, so feeling bad is good for you? What does that even mean. Isn't health about feeling good?

Dr. Hamlett has assisted me with my diabetes for several years now and I have received excellent care and he and his staff have been very responsive to my questions and needs.

Dependable, caring, trustworthy. Spends time and talks with you about problem and explains clearly. Very concerned Doctor. Gives results of all tests with any concerns.

Very calming, is honest, whether it's what you want to hear or not. Does not let the dollar rule his professional views. One place you are not just a number!

Very errogent. Misdiagnosed very simple problem. Be Ware!!!
